Bought this as a birthday present for my niece's little boy. As he is one it's easy for him to hold and have great fun playing with them. Maybe a budding musician in the making

The instruments are lightweight and easy for small hands to hold, and they're surprisingly durable considering the enthusiastic bashing they've received. The sounds are pleasant enough, not too piercing or tinny, which is a relief for parents' ears. It's been a great way to introduce some basic rhythm and musical concepts, and it's kept my little one entertained for hours.

These instruments are incredibly tactile as they’re wooden. They are lovely muted pastel colours and this would make a fantastic present for a young child. The instruments all had a good tone to them and these sorts of toys are fantastic to help develop young children’s skills across many areas. A really lovely, high quality set.
