I'm doing several 36-hour fasts a week, and read that it's important to keep your sodium levels up to keep your adrenal glands happy and your electrolytes up. I had been keeping a shot glass of pink Himalayan salt bits on my desk and eating them throughout the day, but it quickly became a bad-tasting chore and I couldn't really monitor how many milligrams I was consuming. Taking a bunch of salt crystals with water felt like swallowing buckshot and not something I wanted to do multiples times a day. I got these salt tablets and now I just take one in the morning, and I know my body is supplemented. Sometimes I take a second one in the afternoon if my energy is low. These are not coated so they have a strong salt flavor when you take them, but that's fine. They arrived in great condition with no broken or cracked tablets. I liked that they are made in the USA. I will definitely buy these again as a very helpful fasting aid, but this large bottle should last me about a year. Great value for the price.
