Simple but worthwhile
HDMI Switch 3 In 1 Out, Aluminum HDMI Splitter with Remote, HDMI Switcher Supports:I like the small design that makes it easy to hide away. This is set up in my daughters room so that her projector can output different devices without her having to go near it and possibly ruin the alignment. Its working well with a PS5, a firestick and a spare HDMI to connect up to a laptop. When watching a film via the laptop, I am noticing that the output isn't as PERFECTLY smooth as what the laptop screen is showing. Its good but once you see it...This could be because the switcher is working underpowered with the electricity coming through the HDMI. I will soon test it with the provided auxiliary USB power cable to see if that improves. I think this is where the 60Hz / 120Hz come in to play.I've tested a 4K YouTube video and this device did not negatively affect what I already know to be a stunning video.

Handy Device
This HDMI switcher is a really handy robust device that is plug and play ready. It allows you to take three sources and send them to one output (a screen). I tested it with a Blu-ray player and laptop and it worked as expected. I think the price is fair market value based on the quality.

Great switcher for upto 3 devices outputting to a single monitor. Handy remote
I used this to update my home office setup. I connect 1 monitor to a work and personal laptop and can switch displays with ease.It even has a remote which minimizes me having to reach to press the button. There is a 5v DC microusb but I found this worked fine using just hdmi cables plugged into the laptop or display.Plug and play worked fine without any complicated setup.

Very good 3-source HDMI switcher with remote control.
I ordered this to replace a Betron-branded switch that’s been connected to the TV in the lounge for almost 9 years (February 2016) and works fine as a manual switch but it was bought as an automatic switcher. It originally did function fairly well as an automatic HDMI switcher, depending on the specifications of the connected equipment but as that changed it became a manual switcher unless certain items that you didn’t want to view were fully powered off, not just on standby. It’s slightly awkward to manually switch.Having a manual HDMI switch with remote control like this seemed like a good idea and I’m very pleased with it. The device itself seems quite solid, made of aluminium or some sort of alloy and it obtains power via HDMI (equipment-dependent) but I’ve connected the power too.Picture and sound show no sign of any deterioration and the switching works perfectly. The remote control is the typical flimsy device that you tend to get with such things but at least it has proper raised buttons and not the film-covered type. It manages to switch without being in direct line with the IR receiver thanks to reflecting off walls etc though that may not last once the battery becomes a bit weaker. The CR2032 battery should last for ages and they can now be obtained very cheaply. I’ve mounted the remote control in a convenient place using sticky velcro so it shouldn’t get lost or stood upon. I also tried getting a learning remote control that’s in regular use (a very old Philips SRU 5040) to learn the IR codes and it worked! It can now be controlled by 1, 2, and 3 on the unused VCR option though the original remote seems to work better (less directional) probably thanks to good battery strength.I think this is a very good HDMI switcher and at £16.99 would happily recommend.

Very average but also cheap
As you can see this is a highly generic 3-in-1-out HDMI plitter, but with the addition of a remote control instead of just the switch on the unit. This makes it much more usable, especially if your splitter is hidden out of the way.The build quality is about average, and based on the price I’ve no complaints. All ports are smooth to insert and also ‘grippy’ enough that the cables will never fall out.I can confirm this will do 4K at 60Hz, but perhaps not higher than that. Then again, it only costs £17, and for that sort of price it’s a fairly good deal, but nothing special. Four stars.

Sturdy build, good looks & 3 HDMI ports makes this switch a great choice if you need multiple inputs
To repeat the headline again, a sturdy build, good looks & 3 input ports makes this switch a great choice if you need multiple inputs going into one device. Basically put, if you have run out of input ports, say on your TV, or monitor, and you had more HDMI feeds to go into the monitor, then this is one way of expanding the number of input ports you have.I've been able to connect my gaming console, TV smart box , and Blu-ray player to my TV without constantly swapping cables. The inclusion of a remote control is what makes all the difference here, as it lets me switch between inputs so easily from across the other side of the room. The switch is easy to set up and use, with no external drivers needed. Just plug in your devices and you're ready to go. The device supports 4K resolution and 3D content, and the picture quality remains sharp and vibrant without any noticeable lag or loss of signal. The aluminium casing gives it a premium feel and helps with heat dissipation, and the way it's designed with it's curvy looks and nice silver bezel around the ends definitely adds to it's premium look. The only reason why I have given this 4 stars is because it just stops short of being an excellent HDMI switch by virtue of the fact that it only supports a 4K resolution at 30 Hz, rather than what I expected, which was 4K at 60 Hz.
