Tastes great + review info (flavors)
Came with drinks by two separate brands, Sangaria and Shirakiku. I could sense no real difference at all between the two aside from slightly different packaging. Both brands are interchangeable in terms of taste. I do love the bottle and marble, though I wish the plunger could fit snugly as a cap as I did have a spill at one point.Opening it took a little bit of trying a few different things before I figured it out, as this was my first time ever trying ramune. Once you do it the first time, it's very easy from then on but to make it easy for other first-timers: Remove the plastic wrap. Take off the plastic cap. Punch out the center of the cap so you get the little stopper from the middle. Press the little stopper down over the marble (like a bomb plunger) while holding the bottle with one hand and set on a surface, so it doesn't spill.FLAVOR BREAKDOWNDisclaimer: It might not be the exact same flavors for everyone! The flavors I received were: Original (lemon), Orange, Grape, Blueberry, Strawberry, Melon, Lychee, and another flavor not listed. Or, if it is, its in Japanese. It may be another original flavor, I'm not sure. I haven't tried it yet. I did not receive a Pineapple flavor as shown in the product image, which was a bit disappointing because it was one of my most anticipated, but I expected as much would happen. I'm just glad I got the Lychee and Melon, as I wanted to try those the most.GENERAL: I liked them, a lot. I'm a longtime fan of different obscure and unique sodas so I've had a lot of different kinds over the past. My favorite brand was always Sioux City with Stewart's as a close second, but I think ramune (any brand) knocked Stewart down a peg.ORIGINAL: The first flavor I had was the Original, which has a soft lemony flavor. The first thing I noticed off the bat was how smooth and light this soda is. The carbonation in typical soda (Cola, Pepsi, Dr Pepper, Sprite, Ginger Ale, etc) usually bothers my throat and I have to shake my drink to flatten it out a little. This didn't have that. The carbonation added a bit of body but wasn't overused or bothersome. Another great thing I noticed was because there was no high fructose corn syrup (at all), it didnt have that sticky, sappy, syrupy texture or aftertaste. The first ingredient is filtered water, so it goes down really smooth. The flavor itself is light too. It didn't taste artificial. It had a light lemony taste. It wasn't sour or overwhelmingly sweet. It was nice like water with a hint of lemon flavor and carbonation, although a little bit sweeter than plain old water. Of the ones I've had so far, this was actually my favorite. It taste like the essence of springtime.STRAWBERRY: The second flavor I had was strawberry. To compare, I ate some actual strawberries beforehand. It's not a very accurate portrayal of strawberry, in my opinion. It lacked the punch and bittersweet bite of a real strawberry. This seems to be an issue with Japanese strawberry flavoring in general, as I noticed a similar sensation on strawberry flavored pocky a few years ago. I thought it was just the pocky at the time, but even here, it has a slight milky taste. It's a lot like drinking a watered down strawberry milk or a milder strawberry YooHoo. Just because I don't like the taste of milk (although there was none in the ingredients!), I'd mark this as my least favorite flavor of the ones I've had although I wouldn't turn it down if offered.ORANGE: The third flavor I tried was the orange. I liked the orange a lot. I'm a big fan of orange soda in general (like Crush or Sunkist) and this was actually the most pleasant I've ever had. It wasn't fake orange, but tasted actually almost like a watered down orange juice. This was fantastic, for me, as I'm a huge fan of orange juice and lemonade and this felt like the lovechild of both. It was light and sweet like the juice of a clementine rather. You did feel a small hint of the acid of the orange, but it wasn't astringent or "sour" really. This was probably my second favorite flavor, although it's VERY close.BLUEBERRY: Next up I tried the blueberry flavor. Here's where I ran into that spill I mentioned earlier, which was a bit annoying since OF COURSE it had to be the dark blue flavor instead of the other clear or mostly-clear ones! I tasted some actual blueberries beforehand and again the flavor is very mild by comparison. It's a lot softer and mellower, which I actually really enjoyed. The occasional extremely sour one is why I'm not a big fan of raw blueberries but this was like drinking the juice of all the lovely sweet, soft ones without getting the occasional sour or hard one. I couldn't help thinking all the while drinking this that this would make such an amazing shaved ice flavor. It was very good and of the flavors I've had so far, my third favorite.I will continue to update this review as I try the additional flavors.

Take a Ramune to a meeting and let the party start.
Wish I could visit Japan. But, since I can't go, Amazon has snacks and drinks that other countries have. Eight bottles of soda that tastes really good. Cool way to open them and wait for it..... there's a marble in the neck! Very cool!Seriously, the sodas are actually tasty even better when cold. The mechanism to get into the soda is intimidating at first but after a few tries there's success drinking a sweet treat.Totally not for business!!! This product is for you and a few friends to have a bit of fun with.

Was purchased for my son and he loved those. He loves to try different international foods and a big fan of good yummy stuff from all over the world. He did share it with us and it was very delicious. As i traveled a bit in my past it resembled drinks from other countries but for his it was nothing like he ever tasted before. It was "gentle" flavor and not obnoxiously sweet. Excellent product even though expensive as a gift it was perfect. Has unique bottle shape with glass ball inside to prevent spills. The ball does not come off or fall out so there is NO choking hazard.

Overall this is a good product even tho you don't get exactly whats shown
YOU DO NOT GET THE FLAVORS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE just a warning. i got 2 different brands of this. I did however get the flavors that they said when someone asked. And none of them were the slightest bit open. Overall this is a good product even tho you don't get exactly whats shown. And the bottles are written in English which made me wonder why it is written in English. The flavors do taste great tho. The flavors i got were Grape, lychee, melon, pineapple, plum, orange, original, and strawberry.

Such an awesome product!
My daughter picked out these sodas as a late Xmas gift. She enjoys trying Japanese culture & she is pleased with her choice. Even though they are glass, they were packed nicely and we are enjoying the sampling.

Very Good!
The product arrived on January 7th. Exactly a week earlier than the earliest delivery date (January 14th to January 20th). No harm was done to the product and it came in a variety of flavors, such as peach, grape, original, and more! So far, My favorite is Lychee. It's like a Rose-Flavored Hi-Chew! Obviously, the flavors arent for everyone, but overall, I think it was perfect!

Not bad but decent. Go for Sangaria if you want a better tasting drink
Warning to everyone: These are not Sangaria brand. These are assorted flavors by Daiei Trading. Tastes are different from these to Sangaria.Arrived in perfect condition. No leaks or breaks. Some of the tastes are on the low side, like the orange. I have had the Sangaria Orange one before and it tasted like a less carbonated version of Fanta Orange (which is is perfectly fine to me) but the one received is a weaker version of Sangaria's. It wasn't too bad just didn't have enough orange flavor. Coconut was also like that. I will try the other flavors soon but have same expectations. Honestly, spend the little bit extra and get the Sangaria version.Pro tip: If you live in the Chicago area (around Arlington Heights) goto Mitsuwa Marketplace. They sell Sangaria packs and in a lot of flavors. The place is amazing and has tons of japanese foods and drinks (their raman restaurant is AMAZING). [...]

Uniquely interesting soda
I really liked the variety pack of Ramune sodas. The novelty of the design is the best part of soda. Very unique take on an non-spill bottle. All are very tasty, and refreshing.
