Farmacy Beauty is cruelty free and Leaping Bunny Certified, which means none of our ingredients, suppliers, vendors, or distributors test on animals for any reason. Our honey line is not vegan because honey is a byproduct of bees, however, all products outside of the honey line are vegan. We do not use any animal derived ingredients. Q: Assuming I don’t sweat or swim, does it last all day or should I reapply? If so, how often?

Thank you for your message. Generally, sunscreen should be reapplied every two hours, especially after swimming or sweating.

Q: How does it smell? Some mineral sunscreens smell like hot metal!

Our Green Defense broad-spectrum SPF 30 mineral sunscreen is free from mineral oil and synthetic fragrance so you will not find the same harsh smell as some other brands. It also includes marigold and black chokeberry extracts which create a mild and pleasant smell.
