My black and decker firestorm, twelve volt drill is outsated and no longer manufactured. This replacement battery runs my old drill like it's new.

I thought I was going to have to get rid of an old drill, but this worked perfectly.

This battery looks good. Voltage read a little over 12V when delivered.Unfortunately, I didn't think about Black and Decker designing multiple versions of a 12V battery. This one doesn't fit my tool which is my mistake.I charged it using a lab power supply (assuming it is 10 cells ) and then did a discharge test. The battery held up fine to my testing. So it appears to be a good safe battery design.

This is a good replacement battery for my old Black and Decker brand cordless drill. The fit and functionality is exactly as original, and the value for the money is definitely there compared to buying refurbished batteries.

The battery snapped easily into place on my ancient Black and Decker 12v drill and fired up just fine. It has a good charge right out of the box. Overall, I'd say it's a great value for the price. One of the promotional photos shows a wall charger, which is incorrect (the product description doesn't mention it, and they're always more reliable). The battery recharges through the drill itself.
