This model was purchased for my husband to use in the classroom when he teaches anatomy. It is the perfect size and everything is anatomically correct. A great education piece.

My recommendation is to only buy this when you can look at it. Package had previously been opened and the entire back half was missing. Am a student in student housing and it is very difficult to return an item of this size.Amazon is NOT the place to buy this.

I bought this model to study for anatomy. It is good, but some of the parts where missing some detail that clearly showed on the package for example the cerebellum on the brain, the arbor vitae is not white it's just all brown, and the stomach does not have the blood vessels on it either like it shows on package it is just one color. On the head part I cannot fit both sides together only one, they don't align to fit both of them, so I keep one off. It is detailed enough to study. The parts stay in when it is upright as long as you put the ribcage to secure it.

I got this at target when they had there Christmas toy coupon and paid $84.99 with tax. ($25off). Best gift ever. Super durable, family play and learning time. Worth it.

While this is an amazingly detailed model, ours its continually having pieces break. Unfortunately once the month had elapsed that would allow us to return it in order to replace it, many of the posts / pegs that hold things in place had snapped off. We haven't taken pieces apart roughly. Quiet the opposite. We have been very careful. But the back piece only had one remaining peg, the clavicle has snapped, and the head piece is missing pegs.

Good
