Great watch!
My husband absolutely loves his watch. It’s not too big, it’s got loads of great features, and they all seem to function as expected, if not better. The watch is easy to read, and the digital display enables it to be read in multiple ways and to be used as an educational tool for our children. The compass provides cardinal direction and degrees. The LED light is strong enough to show the entire watch face, and it can also be used as a small flashlight in a pinch. Its “lume” feature lasts for several hours, and is recharged by the LED light. We’ve yet to calibrate the altimeter, so we’re unable to speak to its functionality except to say that it exists. The watch connects to the atomic clock, so we rarely, if ever, question its overall accuracy. It’s also great to look at. Overall, we highly recommend the product.

Rare and super cool comfortable perfect.
I have a few rolexes and seikos and older protreks . I've been eyeing these new protreks for a while. when casio released the bonfire edition I had to get it. it's been the only big watch I can tolerate while riding a mountain bike. the others have always destroyed (made me bleed) my wrist.. I actually tore a garmin watch off my wrist during one ride and threw that $400 piece of trash into the woods. this model protrek is square , not round and it is light weight AND it has a rubber strap that keeps it where it is supposed to be. It has solar power, radio atomic automatic whatever time keeping that adjusts itself every day... my rolexes ... honestly are garbage compared to this when it comes to accuracy and actual time keeping. this watch is awesome. AND IT HAS A FRIGGIN light on it so I can check the time after I turn the lights out... it has red lime on the face and hands too which is dope... but can't beat a light and you know this man... if you have had watches with just lume on them you know that stuff sucks.. I don't care if it's tritium or "really bright lume" it still sucks compared to a light and you know it. the way that this watch operates is really hands on and is satisfying to manipulate the functions and change settings. the way casio has combined analog and digital is next level with this one. "but it doesn't have a heart rate monitor or a step counter boo hoo"... I know when my heart rate is in the red because I ride a mountain bike every day... I don't give a flip how many steps I have taken in a day because I'm not obese enough to worry about it. "but it doesn't have GPS"...I've had garmin watches with GPS... they suck. everyone of you that owns a garmin watch with gps knows this too. use your phone gps...screen is bigger . this watch is as durable as any G-shock , it's a tank. if you are looking at casio protrek watches , this is the one. pick a color combo and buy it, you will love it.

Quirky watch with good looks
Great watch, looks amazing. I am just bummed that the temp sensor always reads wrong and I have not been able to find the power reserve yet on the display. The Manual did not help as well.

Probably not worth it
Love this watch and all the bells and whistles work just fine. However, the watch band is tearing after less than a year of normal usage and Casio doesn’t cover anything in their warranty except obvious manufacturing defects. Not worth the price if the band doesn’t even last a full year in my opinion. Would look at a different style for durability and different brand for warranty.

Defective,
Watch would not program. After spending hours trying and following instructions both online and owners manual, I could never get to work right. Do not recommend unless you like major headache.
