Comfortable and good for driving
Comfortable fit and great for my migraines and reduces eye strain. Not super dark. I use them when I drive and they actually works well in rainy/cloudy conditions because of the way they filter the light.

Didn't know how much I needed these
These work super well for me when driving to prevent issues that happen with various lights. Yes, they definitely help with preventing my optical migraines. But they also help a lot with being able to see in certain conditions despite blinding lights from other cars. They're a little dark to wear at full night, but before it's completely black night, and anytime during the daytime, they're amazing and help so much. They let me see everything incredibly sharp, the way that other glasses claimed they would but never have.Right now at the time I'm writing this, I see they're not in stock anymore. That's unfortunate, I hope they get them back in.They're not the most fashionable glasses, but they work very well, and I did like this style better than their other styles. The wider lens length is better to help block lights and the sun and still see well, without having a big heavy giant pair of glasses still on your face. They're supposed to be for certain light issues, and for seeing better and sharper while driving, and they do those things extremely well.

Helps with my Blepharospasm condition
Before I start in on my review, I just wanted to mention that I am nearsighted with perfect vision up close sans contacts. I currently do monovision so I only wear one contact which is in my right eye. These glasses did not distort my vision in any way.I was recently diagnosed with Blepharospasm. This is a rare neurological condition that affects the eyes by causing a loss of control of the eyelids. Thankfully mine is mild but it can progress. There is no cure just as there is no known cause but light sensitivity seems to go hand and hand with it. Some of the recommendations to help with triggers is wearing sunglasses outside, even when cloudy, as well as wearing FL-41 glasses when working at the computer or when in a room with bright lights. My job consists of working at a computer and my office has flourescent lighting. I started noticing the twitching was always worse when I was at work. I decided to look into FL-41's.Since this was something new for me, I didn't want to spend too much in case they didn't work for me. These were priced well and so I ordered them after reading the measurements and determining that they should fit. They arrived quickly and were packaged well. The glasses came in a nice box with a cleaning cloth and a limited warranty card. The frames feel sturdy and the lenses are wide enough to block out light on the sides. Although that's good, I do feel like that makes them a bit too big looking for my face. Regardless, I didn't buy them for fashion but figured I'd mention it. The lenses are tinted enough so that light is muted but not so much that I can't see indoors. After wearing them consistently at work, I've noticed a decrease in my eye spasms. As far as feel, the nose pads can cause me some discomfort with prolonged use. I have been looking into maybe buying some adhesive pads to help with that. Aside from that, they feel light on my face and the arms are comfortable on and around my ears. I'm considering buying a second pair so I can just keep one pair at work as I have used them to watch TV when at home.If you are looking to try out FL-41's and don't want to spend a lot of money while determining if they will work for you, I do recommend BRADDELL OPTICS as they are an affordable and quality option.

Excellent eyeglasses
In that I have neurological eye problems, my doctor recommended these. They take out the glare from laptops, computer, blue lights, fluorescent lightening- my vision has improved to the point where I can work for longer periods of time on tasks requiring intensive eye concentration. Please be aware these are NOT prescription lenses. I use my cheaters underneath. However, they are made so the pink tint glass can come out and prescription pink tint put into the extremely sturdy frame.

Tight, heavy, capable of scratching your face, but effective
These glasses are tight. They are both narrower and have more aggressive clamping than other standard/medium sunglasses and FL41 glasses I have owned. Bright side, they won't slip. Downside, they are not comfortable to put on or wear for long periods. Facial and temple pressure are triggers for a lot of migraine sufferers, so that's not great. They are also surprisingly heavy. Again, this adds pressure and discomfort, potentially worsening migraines and definitely making them uncomfortable to wear for long periods. The ends of the arms are so sharp, I have actually cut my face putting these on (their being narrow does not help in this regard). I filed them down, and now they can only scratch my skin. This is actually dangerous. Be very careful putting them on, and avoid doing so while distracted or active. So, the downsides are pretty big. The positives don't make up for them. If you find other glasses which fit your needs and budget, you should buy them instead. That said, they are:-effective-wraparound (avoiding most peripheral light and reflection from light sources behind you)-relatively inexpensive-dark enough to wear outside when it's not too sunny-light enough to wear in bright indoors environmentsThis is a rare combination, so if that's what you're looking for, it may be worth dealing with the negatives. That's my case. But as soon as I find something comparable that I can afford, you can vet I will retire this pair.
