Q: How many square feet of fiberglass cloth can i 'paint' onto plywood with a three gallon kit?

depends on how thick you want it. Figure out the square inches and multiply by how thick you want it. Then google volume conversion. You will find a calculator that you can put your cubic inches into to convert to gallons. 3 gallons will cover roughly 19 square feet if you want 0.25 inch thick

I bought a 1 gallon kit, 2 parts equal a gallon of epoxy. I covered an outdoor bench both sides equals 40 sq ft. It only goes on one thickness via a roller or paint brush. I did two coats (80 sq ft) and still have 1/2 gallon left

I use it in combination with wood,to carve bowls,using Blue Dye and some short round wood pieces,a form made from the bottom of a 5 gal pail,pour in the resin,let it set,then carve it.

I sure painted over it! Two coats of poly porch paint. It took a while to set up but that might have been the paint. Otherwise - it's been tough as nails.
