Great Color Laser printer for great price.
Arrived on time in good OEM package. Install was fairly easy on LAN.The wake up time is 4-5 seconds to start to print. Very quite printing (compared to my previous color laser, which had drum of color toner.)Adding (change) of toner was very easy. The front "drawer" opens to full access to all toner cartridges.I turned on WIFI to experiment it setup. It worked very good. But had hard time finding how to turn it OFF! (Pressing 'WIFI" button again will just try to re-connect with router.)After reading the full user guide (not quick setup guide), I found out that I had to use a pin to do a "RESET".Printer's Web Interface is very responsive (some menu structure can be improved, but you would not be using it much anyway.)Paper handling is good. You cannot print a real heavy paper (card stock)... most people know that...But envelope and sheet label printing works good.Dual-side printing would be nice, if you do a lot of printing.

This is perfect for a home office.
This is perfect for a home office. It easily wirelessly connects to home routers. Works with mac's perfectly (OS X 10.11.3). Print and picture quality are really good, the toner cartridges last forever, and the cost is very reasonable. I'm never going back to ink jet printers, they're not even comparable. I just wish it had a larger paper bin and was in a different color.

Not really intended for use with a Mac.
The printer works fine (after it is installed) and prints very nice full color prints. The problem is trying to install it on a Mac. It doesn't come with the drivers and there is no program for setting it up for wireless printing for a Mac.The Canon site isn't very user friendly if you are looking for support so just use Google to search for the drivers, the one you are looking for is "Mac_UFRIILT_V140_00.dmg" (as of writing this).

Great
Works great. I didn't take off a star for this bc it was probably my fault, but the wireless driver stopped working about two days after using. I know have to tether it with a usb cable. It still works fine though. No issues with color or ink compatibilty.

Canon Laser Printer
The print quality is fine, but the printer is really slow and really noisy!

I really wanted to love this printer but.......
Here is my experience using this printer for about 5 weeks.Don't buy if you want to:* Print duplex (both sides of the paper)* Print using iOS device such as iPhone or iPad* Have a need to manually feed paper* Use Only 5GHz WiFi band (no 5GHz support)* Seek Canon support (more on this below)Buy if none of the above matters to you.I actually liked this printer, the print quality is good for what I need. It is for home use, occasional kids school assignments and any forms or documents I need to print here and there.Printer Setup: The printer setup wasn't difficult (I am an IT consultant) but I didn't like the fact that I had to load drivers in this day and age. I can understand if I were running an old OS, but none of my Macs (running Yosemite or newer) and Windows 10 machine picked up the printer from the network. I had to download drivers from Canon's website. I hate loading unnecessary software, as it open doors to vulnerabilities and stability of the system. In fact in order to configure WiFi you need to install software on your computer which is an indication that Canon didn't want to invest in product development, instead they preferred their customers to waste time and effort to go through the documentation to install the software.Message to Canon, improve web UI to have WIFI setup options, it can make the setup amazingly easy.It worked flawlessly after the wifi was setup from my computers. The printer doesn't have duplexing capability, which is OK but at least it should give you the option to manually feed paper in case you want to print on the back side to save few trees.Lastly, up until now I was still going to keep the printer and was OK with some of the short comings, after all once the drivers are installed it's not like I will need to do that again any time soon. But I still wanted to be able to print from tablet and phone. I had installed Canon Print Business app on my phone and iPad, and every time I sent a print I got error #861. The same document printed fine when sent from a computer, so after few tries I finally called Canon support today, and to my surprise they blamed the network router. The person was telling me that the router is blocking the phone to talk to the printer, which makes no sense since it is all on local area network and router is just passing the bits, in fact it is acting as a switch (hub) instead of a router for internal traffic. Anyways I was asked to reboot my printer, router and iPhone to fix the issue which I refused to do, since none of these devices had any issues. That gave an easy exit to the support person and I was told further support cannot be provided until the reboots are done and also that I should take my phone to Apple since it appeared to be having the issue not the printer or the app! I hung up nicely.Since that was a complete waste of time I turned to good old Google and found that their crappy app doesn't support this printer anymore, which is also recently confirmed by a Canon associate here (Amazon) in the Q&A section. So the reason I am returning is my customer service experience and that one feature I really wanted. The customer support person blew it for Canon. I would be OK if I was told the app no longer supports this printer model.Oh another thing the error 861 means an error occur while processing data and has something to do with printer setting, which makes me believe is due to printer not supported by the app. The app doesn't discover the printer and after adding it manually it doesn't print. See picture for details. At the end I am glad that this printer was sold by Amazon, they backed me 200% and accommodated me appropriately. They never miss an opportunity to surprise me! Thank you Amazon!

PROBLEMS FROM THE GET GO
I usually LOVE Canon printers...was quite excited to finally be getting one of their color laser printers for my home office.... and since it's been out of the box, it's been one issue after another. :-(. Paper jam after paper jam.... Ink not reading quite right, color profile not true to life....and finally, it makes a gos awful racket every time I use it to print anything- it literally sounds as if it is about to self destruct. The worst part is, I do not have the time patience energy nor a back up printer so that I can maybe take this one in anmd have it serviced or looked at. I just have to suck it up for now.... I would advise any prospective purchasers to not waste their time- I will change this review if Canon or Amazon reaches out to me to help.

Buy this printer, you will not regret it
This is an excellent little printer for almost no money. The print quality is exceptional and aftermarket toners are available for less than inkjet. The best part is the manufacturer stand behind their product for one year so when my unit started acting up they overnighted me a brand new unit with a prepaid shipping label to return the old one. You really can't ask for better customer service than that
