Primera AP362 Label Applicator

I was a little worried if it would be easy for me to figure out and use. Watched the video and it was really simple to set up. The hardest part was figuring out size of the bottles circumferences. Luckily there is a website to help figure it out. Works well. Even got my 89 year friend to quickly put on wine bottle labels.

This product worked great after we got it all settled in. 100 bottles later and there are bubbles and wrinkles all over every single bottle. Refeeding the labels and cleaning the machine did not help. It’s wasted over $100 in labels troubleshooting. For $1600+ I expected better. Now my 362 is a piece of junk and I wasted over $1600 for nothing.

Problematic machine from the machine. It's great if you have perfectly flat bottles, which just isn't possible with glass. Had it for two years, troubleshot to death with tech support, and ordered more parts but to no avail. Eventually, it will stop pulling the labels off correctly and jam. Not acceptable for the price. Others have the same problem so they clearly know what the issues are with their product.

Just finished bottling 1800 750 mL bottles. Machine ran flawlessly. First time in 10 years the labeling operation could keep up with the bottle filling operation. Quality was perfect. Setup is a breeze. I love this machine. The only thing to watch for is that occasionally a sticky residue from the label backing builds up on one of the rollers. This needs to be cleaned off with some Alcohol or Acetone about every 400-500 bottles.

Not sure why people have given this machine bad reviews. I’ve had several types of label machine and this is the first automated machine that seems to work. Although it is very pricey.So far I’ve put a few hundred bottles through it and not a single issue. When switching to a new roll of labels it takes 1 or two labels to get it fully calibrated. It after that it’s plain sailing.

Our Primera AP362 worked really well for a short period of time (approximately 5000 bottles). We began getting wrinkles and bubbles in our labels. The phone support personnel suggested several troubleshooting steps which all failed. We were asked to send a roll of labels and bottle samples. We sent samples as directed but Primera lost our samples. After 8 calls over 6 weeks our AP 362 is still not usable. Each time we called support we were promised we would get a call back within 2 hours. Not one support agent ever called back and they cannot locate our labels or bottle samples. Support for this product is absolutely horrible.

For a two label machine, we were unable to find anything we could program for our multiple container sizes for the same price. We run HDPE containers 8oz up to gallons through it with no problems. Initially, we were concerned about our large container size and that they can be irregular, unlike glass, but the unit works great. No more hand labeling!Do be careful that you've set up the label path correctly and the bottle doesn't contact the carriage. It takes standard 3" cores and holds a 1000 count roll.

I'm interning at a winery, and usually it's my job to label their wine bottles with this machine. They call it princess, because "everything needs to be perfect." Whenever we label, we usually spend about an hour trying to diagnose and fix some new random problem with the machine. It's extremely finicky and difficult to use. I was shocked by the price. It should be much more reliable for being so expensive.
