Smith & Wesson SW1101 6.89in Stainless Steel Folding Knife with 3in Drop Point Blade and Rubberized Handle for Outdoor, Tactical, Survival and EDC

I have been collecting knives for more than 30 years. I've seen every price range. This is a nice quality every day carry (edc) knife. Slim design with a strong clip for a comfortable pocket carry, good ergonomic crayton grip and spear point blade style. Not a fan of black blades, but not a deal breaker. It is well made and the blade is perfectly centered in the frame. While it has a flipper on the blade it is not a flipper or assisted opener. It's there to advance the blade for your thumb to finish opening in my opinion. You can flip it open, but it takes a lot of wrist flip to do so. Or you could loosen the blade. Not recommended. The blade edge has a factory grind on it and can be used out of the box, but I recommend sharpening. Overall a really good knife that I believe will last for many years.

Well, hot diggity dog! I got myself one of them Smith & Wesson SW1101 folding knives for my outdoor adventures, and it's a real peach! This bad son of a gun has a 3-inch drop point blade made of stainless steel that can cut through a steak like it's butter. The rubberized handle gives me a good grip even when my hands are slicker than a greased pig. I reckon it's the perfect tool for everything from hunting and camping to surviving a zombie apocalypse. And let me tell y'all, it's a real looker too, just like a fresh apple pie out of the oven. I wouldn't be caught dead without this knife by my side, and I'm as happy as a pig in a mud puddle with my purchase. If you're looking for a reliable, tough, and downright handsome knife for your outdoor, tactical, survival, or everyday carry needs, you won't regret getting yourself one of these Smith & Wesson SW1101 folding knives. It's a real keeper, y'all!

For the price you pay, you get a good quality knife that feels good in the hands and opens quite easily. I will take a star off because it is a little bit difficult to close at first. I knew that Smith& Wesson m&p knives are a little bit better, but they cost quite a bit more. I bought this knife so I can cut plastic off of skids and open boxes. You don't need anything fancy for that.

Pretty nice EDC knife for everyday use. Sharp blade. Easy open and close. Looks nice and performs as it should.

OK, maybe not the best deal ever, but for what I paid it was a GREAT deal! I just received them today, and I already used one to cut some tape off a trailer project. I bought one for the garage and one for the basement. It feels good in my hand and seems like quality well above the price. It came relatively sharp -- at least sharp enough for my needs. I'll update this if it fails, but I feel with my light use these will outlast me on this Earth.

Finally arrived off of backorder. Quality is lower than expected. Blade locking mechanism did not allow un-lock when I got it. I have been able to mess with it to be able to unlock it, but then the lock is not always working. I think I could have gotten a better knife in the bargasin bin at my Tractor Supply Store.

I have another S&W knife and temp lost it so I got this one to replace it. Thank goodness I found the other one. This one hurt my thumb when trying to open or close it. Those little "teeth" hurt! I keep this one under my pillow. But my other one I carry daily.
