I have never received them frozen. I have ordered them many times and they are very fresh and a big favorite in my family. I've sent them as gifts too and everyone loves them!!

The cakes do have a "best if used or frozen by" date on them. They last for a few weeks unrefrigerated if they don't get eaten right away. They are delicious.
