No, the cable is not detachable.

Standard six feet. That description of high grade is purely mis-leading. It's ok quality not bad but not great . I have another low cost headphone $40 , I use another with a 8ft cord, that one I use regularly.

Hi, I own a turtle beach Xo One and the JVC HARX900. I bought the turtle beach because of the included adapter for the Xbox One but the JVC has better quality, better sound (awesome definition) and its more comfortable to wear. I don't own many gaming headsets to give a fair comparison but you can't go wrong with this JVC the Quality/cost is the best you going to find. Be aware that it doesn't include a microphone like a gaming headset does. Good luck.

Q: Can this cans plug directly into laptop/phone/ipod without external amp since it got 64ohm ?

I have only used them with my IPod Classic...they sound awesome...especially for the price.
