Cross Game, Vol. 1 (1) Paperback – Illustrated, October 12, 2010

After Adachi’s success in Touch, readers set a high bar for Adachi, and I did not expect him to draw a new one on baseball again. However, here he comes. He develops characters quite nicely in this first volume as he did before, although I do not feel much momentum at this moment. I am sure it is coming, though.

英語マンガを探してるときに見つけて読み始みはじめました。英語は不得意で読む方にのみ気を使ってた為か、少し感情移入気味だったので、タッチのような展開に正直焦りました。少し目をウルウルさせながら、「この展開ずるいなー」とか言いながら読んでました。（変な意味では無く「こんな気持ちにさせるなんて」て感じで）読んで良かったという思いと、久しぶりに安達さんのマンガは心地よかったです。展開と内容は何時もの安達マンガですので、日本語版を先に読んだらこれほどは興味を持たなかったかもしれませんが、そんなことはどうでも良いと思える作品です。
