Brilliant piece of kit
I have been a user of Wavlink products for a while and they have generally done good by me without breaking the bank. This outdoor range extender/repeater is no exception.Starting at the unboxing experience this product represents quality - the AP is well packaged and comes with everything you need to get started. This device is PoE powered, however if that is not something you currently have setup, no problem as the kit includes a PoE injector/adapter as well as the required power supply cable and ethernet cable (youll only need to connect to the PoE injector from your main router). It being PoE powered means that this router can run off a single cable which is extremely nice, especially considering this is primarily an outdoor product.Speaking of the outdoors - this product is IP67 rated, which means you can rest assured that it will be okay even in thep resence of rain and dust and will function as expected even in unideal weather. The router comes with 6 antennas, 3 each for 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi bands and advertises a whopping range of 300m (though I have not verified this claim). This device can also be used (as the title of the product alludes to) in various different modes - AP/Router, repeater, AP/Repeater or mesh.In my personal experience this product has been great. I set it up in my garden as I do not have good coverage there and it has served that purpose really well - the speeds are basically as fast as they are inside my house but now I have full coverage in my garden and do not need to worry about the device shorting out due to rain.Overall, I think this is a great product with many usecases, both for individuals but also for larger businesses and venues. Wavlink did not disappoint!

Excellent WiFi booster with great range and device support
With kids constantly complaining about weak WiFi on the other side of the house, I decided to try this WiFi extender, and it's made a huge difference—especially outdoors.Key Features & Performance✔ Extended Range – With six powerful antennas and built-in amplifiers, this boosts WiFi up to 300 meters, eliminating weak spots and ensuring reliable connectivity.✔ Handles High Device Loads – Can support up to 256 devices simultaneously—which is perfect for busy households or offices with lots of connected gadgets.✔ Multiple Modes for Flexibility – Offers four different modes depending on whether you need a new network, a boosted signal, or a wired/wireless bridge.✔ Power over Ethernet (PoE) Support – Simplifies outdoor installation by combining power and internet into one cable, making setup easier.Things to Note✖ PoE Box Isn’t Waterproof – While outdoor-ready, the PoE adapter isn’t weatherproof, which feels like an oversight (hopefully, future versions fix this).✖ Setup Might Be Tricky for Beginners – While not too complex, some networking knowledge is useful for optimizing settings.Final VerdictIf you need strong WiFi coverage outdoors or across a large space, this does the job brilliantly. The long-range capabilities, high device capacity, and PoE support make it a great investment for homes, offices, or outdoor setups.

Great
Great wireless access point, significantly increases the range of my wifi.Wifi 6 so it's future proof and will support tonnes of iot devices.Power over ethernet is great too, means I don't have to worry as much about running a cable to a socketOverall, thrilled!

Fantastic range
Not only is the range on this simply amazing, it runs off of a single cable and seems to be able to get through walls really well.Given the price, I’d certainly expect good things from this router and it delivers. Even through a few walls you still get signal. Naturally it slows down a lot but having a solid connection and any speed is still a huge boost in most situation.Setting it up is pretty easy. The instructions are clear to follow and it’s a familiar process if you’ve used an extender or repeater before. Once up and running we haven’t had to restart it at all which is a fantastic sign of a good product. The until is robust and I have confidence it will last a good while. For the money it does exactly as it should and does it very well. For that I’d say I’m happy with it and would recommend it.

Simple to setup, robust unit
This has been fitted now for close to a month on the side of our garage to give coverage in the garage and over the driveway. Our previous vodafone extender was just not getting through the cotswold stone walls. Currently I've had to use two extra vodafone extenders to get wifi into the garage and driveway and even then the driveway signal was pretty poor and the cars struggled to connect. This has picked up the routers signal allowing me to remove two vodafone super wifi extenders. It's been been exposed to the recent storms we've had and hasn't flinched in driven rain and 70mph winds.I've set this up in extender mode as mention, powered by a mains adaptor plugged into an internal socket in the garage.Setup was simple, I just connected the laptop to the routers default wifi and set it up on the web based configuration. Just type in default IP address into a browser with the admin/admin credentials and off you go. Just selected the extender options and put in the house WiFi details. There's an app too but I haven't needed to use that.pretty simple and straighforward, incredible signal strength!
