Just Dance 2019 - Wii U Standard Edition

I like the new interface of the game but I have to agree with another person's review I own all the just dances and buy them religiously on the day they come out but this year is the only year where the song choice is just meh. It's not that great I agree with the other reviewer I checked out the song list and immediately went back to playing the older versions it's just not that good for the first time. The dances are awesome but the music not so much.

My kids love getting this every Christmas. It is by far their most played game (almost only really) and friends come over and they all dance and laugh and have fun with it. It is competitive but not overly (unless you ask my daughter who is lagging just a little behind my son). Fun for the entire family, even the grandmas partake. The music is varied enough to have something for everyone.

It's hard to image that a review is going to sway your decision to purchase this title.Having bought most of the Just Dance titles going back to the beginning, I can say the following:1.) The interface is much better than in 2018 (which was awful)2.) The slot machine is much faster, with you being able to shortcut most of the animations3.) The song selection feels MUCH smaller than 2014-2018, with seemingly more emphasis on "extreme" versions4.) The songs are less latin-oriented than in recent years, with more hip-hop and far-east selections5.) The choreography feels a little more "natural" and less choppy, even in the extreme versions, than in the last few years.6.) The game keeps the high score, but not who recorded it. That's a little disappointing if you play competitively. I'd prefer if they went back to a leaderboard per songSo, the song count FEELS low. Perhaps it's not, and it just a perceptual thing from the interface, but I haven't counted. The Unlimited subscription continues in the 2019 version, and is accessible even if you activated it in an earlier version. The scores are not visible from other versions, though.Overall, the game is pretty much what you'd expect. The accuracy doesn't seem to been significantly altered from the last iteration. If you want any of the songs in the game set, you should buy this title. Recommended

This was super dancy. It made me want to dance, and then I danced. There were great dancy songs to dance to. My only criticism is that I wish the title wasn’t so demanding. I mean like, don’t tell me how to live my life. Maybe the title would be better if it was like “Would you like to dance? If you checked Yes, I can help you learn how to dance while improving your confidence.”

Fun game but not a fan over the subscription part.

So at first, this started is just a game for my daughter to play on her Wii U because she loves to dance and sing. But, in a house full of gamers it wasn't long before all of us (my wife and two sons) were trying to be beat our highest score or the dancer of the week. Its also a good workout, I lost ALOT weight doing it.

They really changed the way to dance to songs, you now have to dance to some songs to unlock a character and certain song. But I do love the 1 month deal they give you with 400 unlocked songs old and new. And my daughter is so happy to see KPop songs but wishes there were more..
