Rock solid. Glad I have it-hope I never need it
Bolted to (attached garage) floor. I am in my 70s. With the proper tools it was easy to assemble. Needed help to lift roof panels and position door. I live in a tornado zone. Ample ventilation. Sliding door and locking mechanism creates a very safe space in my opinion. Great customer service access, professional, well trained staff was quick to answer all my questions and resolve one minor issue.

Easy to assemble as long as you follow all directions And don’t skip ahead. Some light damage from the shipping company though.

High Quality.
Well made storm shelter. It took us about 10 hours to build and secure to concrete. The instructions became a little vague during the door install portion but it worked out. All parts were nicely labeled. There was one piece that did not align but luckily we were able to get it to work with some manipulation. The delivery went smoothly. Overall I definitely recommend.

I have no doubt it will hold up in a tornado!!!
Incredible shelter, in my opinion over built! Which is exactly what you want if your planning on weathering a storm in it. The walls are very think, and heavy. Especially the door! But once hung on the track it is effortless to open. I purchased the bench and shelf as well and glad I did! I was able to store both are go bags on the shelf (pack sizes 35L, and 40L) My dad and I did it ourselves and had it done within 5 hours. If your mechanically inclined it will not be a problem to install. If not, you should be ok, they do include very good instructions along with pictures. All in all, I highly recommend it! It meets/ exceeds all FEMA regulations/ build requirements, and has been heavily tested, which I like. It an amazing unit!

Kept Reginald Alive.
Tbh I live in Michigan & bought this a couple years back as a conversation starter, next thing you know this big ahh twister came chugging through the other night. My roommate Reginald was at home, called me, said "I'm hopping in the shelter" I said WTF Reginald you low key not going to make it.. Well that thing flew Reginald 4 blocks down to the local Mcdonalds, all the while keeping Reginald enclosed.. Yeah he got a few broken bones but the Tornado Shelter is still intact and kept ol Reginald alive.🫡

Installed in 1/2 day!
This shelter was easy to install. My son-in-law has it done in 1/2 day! It is excellent quality and a great buy for the money.
