Peugeot 19501 Tidore Nutmeg Mill, Clear Acrylic

This being my first nutmeg mill, I cannot compare it to others but it is easy to use, the handle is very easy to turn and it makes wonderful fresh ground nutmeg without cutting your fingertips.It is not a lightweight cheap grinder. Seems like it will last for along time. Worth every penny.

I love using fresh herbs when I can and this gives fresh nutmeg every time! Fun to use and makes a great gift for those who like to cook!

I use nutmeg often enough I decided to keep it. It works fine. Comes out about as fine as with my micro plane, but I don't have to worry about cutting myself.It's cute to boot, so when we remodel the kitchen, I'll probably keep it out, will encourage me to make yummy nutmeg including recipes more!

This is the worst grinder ever! You grind and grind to get 2 tiny flakes. It only hold 2 nutmegs and the spring that pushes them down isn't strong enough to get that good grind. Then nutmeg gets stuck when 3/4 done and you end up throwing it out. Waste of money!!!

Pros, seems well made, grinds smoothly, easy to useCONS: package was opened before it arrived. Only 3 nutmegs. Listing is for 7 nutmegs. Other people have complained about this same issue but apparently seller is still removing nutmegs to sell. AMAZON.Pay attention to this problem. Either tell them to change the listing or be honest, leave ALL the nutmegs we are paying for or reduce the price and tell us why.Recommended by buy from a different seller.

Grating nutmeg can be hazardous - to your fingers! For years, we just took the nutmeg in our fingers, and used a small handheld grater to grate some. Well, when the nutmeg "nut" is about 1/2 ground, getting more from it without scraping fingers, is tough! I wanted to make it easier for us - especially for my husband - when we want some freshly ground nutmeg. He loves it in his egg nog.So...I bit the bullet, and ordered this. It is simply MARVELOUS! Adding more nutmegs to the grinder/grater is easy, too. You just untwist the plastic top, and add more.Oh, did I mention that it comes WITH nutmeg already in it? It does!Very, very pleased with this purchase!
