This is a favorite of mine for picking up flavor in many salads and desserts. I keep some in my kitchen always.

I was skeptical in this product, but decided to purchase the product and give it a try. Glad I did! Very tasty. Has the heat element, and sugary. Chewy but not over so. And oh so yummy! Sealable bag.

Two pounds of wonderful tasting ginger and we know ginger is great for many reasons.The color is that yellow gold and the pieces vary in size. It's tasty, not too much sugar and the spicy kick is perfect.However the elephant in the room is the Sulphur and before you don't order this great product I want to pass on some info about sulpher dioxide necessary to keep things from spoiling to quick :1) it's true that Sulphur is not good if you're breathing the gas or eating large quantities of the preservative.2) Sulphur is found on and in many fruits naturally3) as a preservative it's used in dried fruits, wines and other food items4) GOOD NEWS, the sulfur found on grapes, other fruits and dried fruits like ginger, you can wash it off!Take the amount you want to consume and wash the ginger using clean water just as would if you were going to eat some grapes or other foods which is a good practice anywayNo, I'm not a doctor, just a researcher careful about what I consume, I have to be because, like others, I have a body that has some issuesAlways do your own research using reputable sources and be proactive with your health. I have never had any issues with crystallized ginger.Last words, the product comes from the great people of Thailand who have packaged a great product that not only tastes great but have the best price. I have no concept of measurement so imagine my surprise when I got this huge bag of ginger! I was as giddy as a child on Christmas Day!Although I would enjoy these to be a bit spicier (as I might stop eating them after 2 or 3 pieces) every piece I have ravenously consumed has been tender and delicious.I bought these to follow up with ginger I purchased at a store. Sometimes I eat late and end up needing an antacid so I don’t end up being awakened with reflux 😵‍💫.I would eat 3-4 pieces from what I bought at the store and delightfully was able to have my tummy soothed at night and not awakened.So I searched and read reviews and decided on this product.I have only had my bag for 2 days and someone keeps shoving the finger pieces in my mouth! Just one more and that’s it! I tell myself. Well me has totally different ideas about just one more. I even side with me and sneak just one more.Besides ginger being good for you, this is a great substitute for a late night chocolate need.Side note: if you happen to get a tough piece please note it isn’t the fault of the manufacturer or the person selling the finger. It is the fault of the ginger itself and the density of said root before processing. Just spit the tough piece out and pop in another piece 🤭

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I thought this product was a bargain, but it is treated with sulpher dioxide which is not listed in the ingredients shown online. After just two pieces, I later became nauseous with ensuing vomiting and diarrhea. It cannot be returned, even unopened. Manufactured in Thailand.

If I ate this with my eyes closed I'd not think: oh ginger.It's too sweet which seems illogical because candied ginger is sweet. And, the flavor is strange. I do not recommend the product.
