QUIET POWER!
I bought the 300 gallon model for my 120 gallon tank. Overkill? Maybe, but it does the job like no other air pump I've owned. I have it powering two 4-inch round air stones via 8 feet of black airline (anti-siphon valves are a must!) The pump is located in the cabinet beneath my tank approximately 2 feet below the bottom of the aquarium. It is so powerful, it is pushing air up to the top of the tank and then back down 30+ inches to the bottom where I have the two air stones buried in the rocks. (To keep them down, I used silicone to attach pieces of slate to the bottom of each air stone - it helps, a lot!)While this air pump is huge (5" x 8"), it is also hugely quiet. My old air pump was the size of a deck of cards and this one makes no more sound than that one did. The high rate of airflow makes two huge columns of bubbles. This thing is even better than I'd hoped.PRO'S:POWERFULQUIETGREAT PRICECON'SHAVEN'T FOUND ANY, YET!If you're looking for something to get air to your fish - GET THIS PUMP (300 VERSION)! IT WORKS! My 7-year-old blood parrot cichlid was a very pale orange until I installed this bad boy. He's huge and is about 7 inches long and 5-6 inches tall. My smaller blood parrots were always much darker in color, and I could never figure out why. In less than 24 hours his color changed to an orange that is almost red. I never knew he was not getting enough oxygen. Now, he looks better than ever.

Powerful and Quiet ~ LOTS of bubbles from this badboy!
For the money, this air pump cannot be beat. It is very powerful and works at greater depths than some of the "cheaper" ones on the market ~ I have 5 old smaller pumps that have been retired after purchasing this beast. It has two places to hook up tubing to. I then split each of those and it is powering four air "devices" in my 125 gallon goldfish only aquarium. This is actually the second one I have purchased. The first lasted about two years when one side decided to put out less air. Called Tetra and I could have purchased a kit to replace the internal parts that have worn out but by the time I bought the parts and paid for shipping, I was at half the cost of a brand new one. I will just keep the old one for parts should I need it.This runs pretty darn quiet for a high output air pump. My tank is in my main living room (where the family hangs out and watches TV) and it is NOT a distraction at all. I do have it on a dedicated shelf mounted to the wall and it sits on a folded up towel to absorb any vibrations.Highly recommend if you desire HIGH air output on several tubing lines!!!

Impressive Air Volume Output
It's not a compact pump, but it puts out very good volume for my 90 gallon tank. One side is driving a 12" bubble stone and the other side an Aquarium Co-Op, large 40 gallon + foam filter. My fish love playing in the bubble curtain. Even during water changes, the one side of the air pump is driving a considerable amount of water 4 or 5 inches up and out the foam filter. It's pretty basic in it's function, though. It's not completely silent having a bit of a hum, but it is not loud either, particularly considering the output.

Quiet and powerful
I ordered one of these for the Hydro Pro sponges in my 75 gallon goldfish tank. This pump runs much more quietly than the less powerful Whisper pump I was using before, and it creates a good flow through my sponge filters. I purchased this pump last August. It's February now, and this pump still works as quietly and effectively as when I first bought it. If I have any major problems in the near future, I will update this review, but as of now I am quite pleased.UPDATE: My pump is still running effectively and quietly. It continues to work from both outputs (which is more than I can say for cheaper pumps that tend to give out within a year). I purchased a second one of these for another tank located in my bedroom, and it's running just as effectively and quietly as the first. These do cost a bit more, but it's worth the extra boost in performance and reliability, in my opinion. Unless something better comes along, this will be my go-to filter for my larger tanks.

Customer Service
Pump lasted 10 months and worked perfectly. It lost air pressure so based on the warranty info and the reviews, I bought a repair kit ($13). No increase in air pressure. Contacted customer service at Tetra. They requested a receipt and immediately sent a replacement pump. I have read that other had problems with the lifetime warranty but for me it was great customer service (5 stars). The reason for the 4 stars was based on only 10 months of service. Will see how long the new pump lasts.

Strong and quiet
I use this as a septic tank bubbler. Good air flow. Quiet. My last one lasted about 15 years before rubber diaphragms failed.
