We gutted & reinvented the inside of our closets. Our carpenter did all of the work so I cannot speak to installation ease. However, I love having these wardrobe pull downs in the areas I can no longer reach. They are a little stiff when pulling down currently but I'm assuming they'll become a little easier. They do take-up more room than I anticipated but still worth it. They seem to be very sturdy & well made. However, they do consist of some plastic parts which is a concern but only time will tell how they hold up. My project is just about completed so I'll be using them soon. Yay!

Love these pull down closet bars! They are firm and do take a little pull and push to operate but that is because they are sturdy. They work great. My only issue is that they are located next to a door and the brush against the door trim when lowered and raised. No adjustment to avoid this. Overall very happy with the product and I would purchase again.

One thing that one needs to have a clear answer on before buying and installing the system is:Are you sure you need it?With 8' ceilings, if you're around 6' tall, you don't need it. Just mount a standard rod at a few inches under the ceiling and you'll be perfectly capable of using both the top and the bottom rods without pulling/pushing half of your clothes up and down.Despite the product doing exactly what it's supposed to do, it's still a pain to operate this system.Also, if your clothes are a bit long on this rod, then when you pull it down, they'll get caught by the bottom (static) rod (if that's your setup), and they might fall off, since the hangers will kind of lean over.However, if you're below 5' and/or you want to mostly have shelves at the bottom (much more reasonable setup than the standard rod at the bottom, shelves at the top), then it's probably a good investment.My wife is happy with this system, despite the above shortcomings (mainly stuff getting caught, so we learned to be careful when pulling it down or to put mostly shorter stuff on top) and despite a fair amount of effort that's required to both pull it down and push it up (not too difficult, but not effortless).It definitely made a better use of the space in a closet (instead of the useless extremely deep and tall top shelf, where things are left to be forever forgotten and only discovered when you move).

Well built and sturdy. Open and close assist a plus. Once you start pulling it downward, it slowly opens itself. Same upon closing. Easy to install. Wife is happy. 😎

My daughter is a 10 year old wheelchair user. That being said, she's very strong and active and pushes herself everywhere we go, including hills, and she's an avid swimmer. These are impossible for her to pull down independently. I'm very disappointed considering all the reviews that say they are great for elderly, etc. This pretty much defeats the purpose of us trying to make her closet accessible to her and installing these because she still cannot get her clothing by herself so she still needs assistance. I would only recommend to able-bodied customers.

This is the real deal it is made out of steel not plastic as some cheaper products are. It works really well even in a tight environment. I use it to store all of my suit jackets above one side of a 6 x 5 by 9 closet. so yea I have maybe a foot more of height on it but it is still only positioned at 8 feet. This is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for and in the long run quality is cheaper.

We bought 3 of these for a new home construction. We moved in on 2/24/22 and hired a professional contractor to customize our MBR closet and install the 3 rods. One is defective and won't go up or down. How do I get it replaced please?

Had our contractor install during bathroom remodel. These rods are study and hold quite a bit of clothing. Smooth to operate. Soft close is perfect. Well made product. Costs more than others for a reason.
