Seymour Duncan SJBJ-1b JB Jr. Humbucker Strat Pickup - White Bridge

Easy to install, just read the instructions. Note that if you're adding it to a Strat and keeping the Fender pickups, you need to wire it according to the directions on the back side of the instructions. Changed the sound of the guitar just the way I wanted it to. Love it through my Marshall now!

The #2 position is not as clean as I expected. Rather thin and piercing, not useable. I may be reversing the polarity, as some reviews have suggested. But the #1 position is fantastic. The best fat Strat sound I’ve ever played. No complications with installation. Jeff Beck called. He wants his pickup back.

This pickup is perfect on my Mexican Strat. Sitting in the bridge position the JB Jr. sounds almost as bright as the original single coil it replaced but without the hum and with more power. Pinch harmonics sound downright nasty through a distorted channel, and the cleans can sound however I want them to: bluesy, jazzy, funky, etc. Playing in the second position on the selector switch, the JB Jr combines wonderfully with my stock middle single-coil pickup.Really I can't say anything bad about this pickup, and I think it is best placed in the bridge position on the guitar. 5/5 stars.

Love it. Found the installation a little tight due to location and gauge of wires and proximity to bridge, bit of a pain to stuff in there, but tone is amazing. Wanted a pickup with that Ed O’Brien type option and it’s exactly what I wanted.

I’ve been through a LOT of pickups in the last year trying to find the right set for my taste. The LIl 59 nails it. Hot enough for most any hard rock, cleans up nicely for cleans, and generally does anything you ask of it. It is brighter than the JB Jr and I think it works better in a Strat than the full size 59. Best of all, it is designed for 250k pots, so it is an easy drop in for any stock Strat. I love it.

Installed on a strat and immediately fattened the tone! Split the coils and get a nice strat sound. Best of both worlds!

I have installed on my American Stratocaster Special. It sounds good and nice tone with other single pickups.If you install this pickup with other brand such as you want replace bridge pickup only, make sure BLACK wire goes ground (POT) and GREEN wire connect to the switch. There is very small letter in the manual, it can be skipped easily.

I just didn't play this strat that much because I really prefer a humbucker pickup in the neck. This JB Jr. is much hotter and fuller. I wouldn't say it's as beefy as a full size humbucker, but it has some great mids and very nice high end. Overall, very satisfied.
