Sony UBP-X700 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray Player (Black)

Got this player x700 a few days back. This player is region A and voltage is 120 so you will need a step down stabilizer. The apps have Netflix and u tube but no prime. Did not make a difference as I use 4k tv fire stick for streaming films in my theatre. I checked 2 4k disc and so far no issues.

Very happy with the quality of output from this 4K Blu-ray player. It does what it promised.It can read 4.5tb Hdd hard drive very fastUBP x700 runs all file formats including uhd 4k file from usb playback delivers very smooth in my Sony Tv we has option in tv 24p true cinema display it delivers picture 5/5 audio 5/5 keep it up Sony.

Extremely good picture quality. You can see 4K and HDR compatible ultra HD blu ray disc. If you have only SDR TV then also you can see 4K UHD HDR disc by HDR to SDR conversion feature. Most video and audio file type is compatible with this player. You can play many files from network by DLNA feature. This player can play 11.2MHZ High Resolution audio. This player is compatible with DOLBY ATMOS. Absolutely spellbound experience. Thank you.

Streaming is enough . no differencemaybe for movie lovers .. not recommended

Sound level low for dolby atmos version bluerays both uhd and 3d compared to lower versions like MP4 video formats,.mkv files etc eventhough sound receivers with atmos decoding is available. May be due to bringing up more clarity and compressed effect for audio quality.But in the process level got too low..Similar complaint heard from all fellow users using this player..Some errors of player crash noticed during a simulataneos opening of tray when a usb playback is going on..However Usb playback excellent running all associated file formats..This player is not region free and dislike to play any content of blueray from anywhere out of our region..Beware of buying bluerays with cinaviya protection also..Sound output from both hdmi slots simultaneosly one for uhd tv and other arc hdmi to sound receivers encountered some issues.Anyway multiple types of TV out for video solved the issue.The absense of any analogue audio output from player will prevent you from connecting it to an analogue amplifier which is a shortcoming..Earlier versions of sony has multiple sound outputs and better level quality of audio output due 2 better integrated circuits..Dolby vision seems useless when it cannot used while playing 3d movie content in uhd format..All compression levels when enabled will reduce sound level irrespective of best quality sound receivers you have..This player needs more betterments compared to others available in the market.Unfortunately no sound presets available which should have atleast enhanced sound levels a little bit more..Most of the old bluerays earlier run of older versions of sony disagreed to run in this player specifying that format is not compatible..Conclusion - This one is not a multi format compatible blueray with above average sound quality and hence loyal customers of this brand expected more from the so claimed best brand of the world

This is a Very good product. It has excellent sound quality and good picture quality. Sony gave me this player with the best experience of my life so far .I am very happy. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Amazon for bringing this product to my lap. lam VINOD

1.While playing Webm 60p 4k Video, Player is showing audio not supported.2.Fast forwarding is variable with respect to file. It will be maximum 2x for some files, some files it will be 3x and some Files.3.Reverse action while playing is also file specific, means it is showing 'prohibited action for this file' while attempting for a few type of files (imax1080).4.Dolby vision (On) doesn't make any that much change. Don't fall for that. It all only depends in TV.5 Youtube playing is good.Remote is good in moving fingers through keys and navigation.6.USB navigation is Good.7.Overall Design is very good.8.Multiple HDMI ports does matters., a good option for avr users which does not support 4k also.9.Screen morroring is good, but my product received( even after replaced), both are experiencing noise(tik tik like) repeatedly while playing video, audio etc through screen mirroring so i requested for replacement.10. Rate is a little bit high with respect to spec.Rate should be below 20000INR I think.11. All the features is same as the Smart Tv While using pendrive. Playable files are same and My LG 43UJ652T 4K Tv can play more formats of files like WEBM 4K through pendrive, on the otherhand UBPX 700 will not play it.12.4K Upscaling is a common feature of almost all branded 4K TV s, and it is not a unique feature for saying. It is just a basic feature a UHD bluray PLAYER Must include.!13. 3d is playable but you need is a 3D Playable tv or projector.Picture Quality 3/5 Normal,, not any special change with respect to others including TV s.Sound Quality 3.5/5Value for money 2/5

Audio clearly is so good. Also all kind of file formats are readable in usb. Pendrive play back
