Fits well. Easy to adjust on to the ironing board . Good quality.

As someone who likes their shirts ironed just so, I am really pleased with this cover. It works so well and ironing isn’t a pain nor do I need to adjust the board cover during an ironing session.However… fitting is a pain. Easy - but a pain! Tightening the cover took multiple goes and I had to pull the strings so hard I thought they would break. The toggle to secure the strings when combined with how hard I had to pull to get a tight & secure fit is just not the best design. I don’t want to cut off the excess string in case I have to refit so now it’s just a hindrance dangling down & keeps falling out if I tuck it away.Shame as it’s a great cover

How am I meant to get excited about reviewing an iron board cover?I had trained up 1 of my sons to be my ironing biatch but he’s slacking so I’ve had to take over again…sigh.Other than that it’s great value and fits well))

This cover was the size recommended for our large board but annoyingly it could do with being an inch bigger all round. It has to be refitted before every use. As a board cover it does the job but we would not buy again.

Ironing is not my favourite thing to do so anything that helps is a bonus. This cover does reflect the heat and I have found there is little to no ironing necessary on the reverse of clothes. Simple to put on. The ties are helpful enabling a good fit. I wouldn’t usually pay the price for a cover but they usually last me four or five years so it is good value for what you get.

I always buy Vileda ironing board covers. They are always good quality and the price is very reasonable for what you get. I'm very pleased with this ironing board cover, it fits my ironing board very well with no lumps or wrinkles!

Now, a few months on, pleased to report excellent performance from this cover. Its surface treatment when new created a slightly disconcerting friction noise but all is well now that it seems to be "run in."I would definitely recommend this Vileda item as it appears very durable, performs well and makes ironing that bit more pleasurable (if that's possible!!)
