Excellent nutrition reference for physicians
Nutrition in Clinical Practice is a well-referenced textbook of nutrition written for medical students and physicians. Although less detailed than Modern Nutrition in Health & Disease, is it very readable and presents an overview of nutrition as it relates to the prevention and treatment of disease, covering all organ systems.

Great review!
I bought this book preparing for my master thesis in nutritional epidemiology! This is a great way to review the research highlights in diet and health and get more ideas for future research. This book helped me to identify the gaps in current nutritional research

Great book for nutrition
I actually bought this book for school. I needed it and even though it came a week after I needed it, it is loaded with information.

An excellent resource
This book is well researched and presented. It is highly technical and appropriate for medical professionals. Integration of content into my psychiatric practice has been a goal in reviewing this book.

The driest nutrition text ever written
I needed this text for a continuing education course. I love nutrition and have an advanced degree in it, but this is the driest text I've ever read. If it had been assigned to me in my undergraduate studies, I would have lost all interest in nutrition and changed degrees. Material is presented in long blocks of text. There are a few tables thrown in, but no pictures. No color. Does a good job of presenting and summarizing nutrition studies that conclusions are based on, but there is so much statistical information crammed into each dense paragraph that you really have to hunt for ways to stay interested. If this text is assigned to medical students, I can imagine why they hate nutrition.
