Q: Is there a way to mount this on a wall? Also, do you need any additional purchase to mount on a mic stand?

There are no provisions to mount this on the wall, besides, you will occassionally need access to the rear anyways. Also - you dont need to purchase anything additional to mount it on a mircrophone stand, as it already comes with an adaptor just for that purpose. If you are handy enough, you could mount it on the wall using the bottom center hole that's supposed to be used for the mircophone stand, so it would work like a swivel mount. You would have to fabricate this type of mount yourself.

Yes, standard power cord like a desktop computer or any other piece of sound equipment (3 prong grounded). You can play audio with a flash drive through the USB plug OR you can plug an mp3 player (or laptop, phone, etc) into the "CD INPUT" using a 3.5mm to stereo rca cable (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=3.5mm+to+rca&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3A3.5mm+to+rca)Hope that helps! It's a nice speaker (best of all it's super portable). You can also save a few bucks and buy the Behringer EUROLIVE B205D. It's the same 150 watts only in a 5.5inch speaker, no usb input (if you don't plan on using that!) and 2 XLR-1/4" inputs instead of 3.

Q: Has anyone used this for vocals in an R&B band and if so how did it perform?

I have two of these combo amps. They will NOT support full band sound for large venues. I have used them for on-stage personal monitors and they work great for that IF you don’t need to run heavy bass frequencies through them. However, I have used this combo for a solo acoustic gig at an assisted living center and it worked fine for an acoustic guitar with vocal. Any time I’ve tried to run loud bass frequencies through this combo they clipped and started breaking up. At this price point I wouldn’t want to blow out the speaker.
