LOVE IT!
LOVE IT!! Perfect light for our Disco room. We grew up in the Disco age and still listen to the Disco and New Wave music and created a room in our home to reflect this era. This light is AWESOME! Yes, the music has to be slightly loud in order for the mic to pick it up (the mic is not that sensitive). Can't wait to take this light to my company Christmas party :) If you are indecisive, I did A LOT of research before purchasing this light, do your own research too, but you will NOT be disappointed with this purchase/investment!

Just like advertised!
Haven't used the unit yet but it's packaged and looks brand new just like advertised.

Motor is so frick'n loud!
I have owned dozens of dj lights throughout the decades, never heard one with an obnoxious motor this loud. On top of that, for being LED it's not very bright.

Loud, and not like you've seen in clubs
EDIT: Okay, this light does what is does well, and it's sturdily built, so I'm giving back a star, but if you want to up your house party game with a light whose movement responds to the beat of your music with mesmerizing patterns (called chases in the lighting world I've learned), you probably want the ADJ Revo 4. Yes, the Revo 4 costs a lot more, but it does exactly what I hoped the Vertigo Hex would do--the tempo of its built-in programs reacts to the beat of your music in a meaningful way. With the Vertigo Hex, any beat relation is coincidental to the built-in program. It's also worth noting that the Vertigo Hex motor makes a lot of noise that might be drowned out at a bar but is probably too much for a house party if you need to keep the volume at a reasonable level... The Revo 4 is silent! Also, I recommend a smoke machine if you want to make the beams really pop from this or any similar LED effect light. For a large venue, look at 700+ watts, but for a living room, the 1byone 400 watt machine with Froggy Techno fluid (medium density) is more than sufficient... I use a remote control timer and actually have to turn it to the minimum setting before long because I just want to make my lights pop...I don't want to create a suffocating white-out cloud.ORIGINAL POST (1-star): If you think the light from this will dance to the music, guess again. It does nothing but slowly rotate back and forth irrespective of the beat. It's not like you've seen in clubs, and it's going back to Amazon.

Good Light - Poor Quality workmanship
Unit works very good; when it arrived two of the lenses had fallen out; I had to open the unit replace the lenses and bend the metal tabs to better hold all of the lenses (most of them were loose); other than the poor manufacturing, the light seems to work well; I added it to my light bar but haven't used it out in public yet. more to come? maybe, maybe not.

Love the Lights!
Thanks to this stage lights, our party was fun! Perfect size and light enough to move around. Have this for years, and still working well. Highly recommend.

The mobile DJ’s workhorse
I love this light. Had the incandescent version for years. Those worked simply and reliably, but got godawful hot. This LED version may not be *quite* as bright, but it works well enough given the rooms I play, and I love that it stays cool to the touch. If you just want some reliable lights that chase around to the music, the ADJ Vertigo is the way to go.

Eh.....
You get what you pay for. It is an ok light, when used with something else. I'm a first time DJ- full disclosure, just got this for my buddies wedding. the lights put off from this aren't really that bright, and its pretty noisy (not that you can hear it with music blaring) but it would not work for a home party or anything like that.
