Really love the whole inside is foam. It holds up well under the weight of my dogs (50lbs). Keeps it shape and even a human weighing 150+ lbs can walk up it. It’s soft and actually cute. She can just doesn’t. I think she would if she really wanted on the bed but they block the side she would jump up anyways. So they solve the problem of her jumping on the bed. She is a little older and is having some spine and back leg issues.So that’s not really a con I keeps her from jumping on the bed. I really like them and think they work perfectly. My 4 lb chihuahua was the first to figure it out. Took him about 2 min my other pup who’s larger took a day or so to get use to them.

The perfect stairs. The foam is WAY more sturdy and soft/comfortable than you think it is going to be. I can sit on them and be fine! Our little canine son is 24 lbs., but your bigger furry child would be safe to use them for sure!Not only are they amazing in all ways, style, size, comfort, safety, they are made in the USA and don't have any bad chemicals in them. We live in the state of California, where Prop. 65 is huge. It is all about warning you about any harmful, cancer causing materials or chemicals being used in any product you purchase. That is the first thing I do when making a purchase, ESPECIALLY for my canine son, who is the one using these steps. They are awesome and we can be at ease that they are not causing him to be exposed to any harmful chemicals. 100% recommend them if you want the best for your furry kid/s. These stairs are very well built (they are not compressed foam and come fully assembled). I don't have stairs in my home, so it took me a little while to train my dog to use these. After a few treats, she had it down. This works for high beds. I have a small dog (a Shih Tzu) and it works great for her. If you have a large dog, this probably is not the best option. I have it on carpet and it stays put as she runs up the stairs.

I have 2 dogs (25 lbs and 30 lbs). It was becoming such a pain to heft them into bed every night and often they would want in bed after I was already half asleep. The same day the steps arrived I showed them both one time how to use them, and that night they climbed into bed on their own. They are so proud of themselves each time they climb the stairs. It's kind of hysterical. Actually, they don't really climb all 5 steps. They run at the stairs and jump from the 2nd or 3rd step onto the bed. Despite the way they attack the stairs, the foam seems pretty sturdy, although there are noticeable indentations in the foam after just a couple weeks of use. I'm hoping this won't get much worse. I put a non-slip mat under the stairs so they stay in place. Works great. Lightweight enough that it's easy to lift up to clean floor. The stairs are also nice looking. Fabric is attractive such that I don't at all mind having this in my bedroom. Wish I had bought these stairs years ago!Update: Have now had these stairs for 3 years. They are holding up great! They look basically the same as the day I bought them. The foam is still strong and holding its shape. Cover material is also still in excellent condition. And it's so easy to unzip the material to wash, and then recover. Highly recommend these doggie stairs.

Super sturdy yet soft on the legs. Great for high up beds.

My dogs are loving these steps. They quickly learned to use them. They are sift but very sturdy. And they don't slide around. The only thing that would have improved them would be a removable cover to wash, but I knew when I bought this that it didn't have a cover. Still, an awesome purchase.

This is really lightweight to move around when I vacuum but sturdy enough for my clumsy cats to walk on. My cats are 17 and 9. I got this so they can get up to the window sill where they like to hang out. They were skeptical at first but I put some snacks on the steps to coax them to walk up them now they use it all the time. I got the largest steps I probably should have gone one size down. The height is perfect for the cats but it takes up a lot of space in the room. The cover is zipped on, removable, washable. The cover is really soft and a pretty grey which matches the room decor.

Really happy with these stairs. They provide cushioning for my little Yorkie's knees but are still very sturdy. The best part is that the individual stair is low enough that she doesn't have any trouble going up them--great for a small dog and would be good for a larger dog as well. The cover is made of very nice, soft material--not the cheap-looking sheepskin that covers most stairs. I got the gray and it is a soft dove color. As far as dog stairs go, they are very attractive. If you are trying to decide which height to get, I would go with the taller ones. I got the five steps and my bed is low. The top of the stairs is the same height as the bed which is what I wanted. Definitely worth the price.
