SKY+ HD Box 1TB Personal DRX895 DigiBox

This is by far the best-looking Sky box, and boy have there been some lemons in the looks department. This 1TB job actually has a 1.5TB hard drive and is likely better value than the 2TB which is exactly 500GB bigger. It has the UHF out option which is about to disappear in favour of WiFi, so get it while you can. The remote is likewise the best design they've ever managed. Remote and unit are solid and reliable. The hard drive is just audible when it spins up: kind of reassuring. Technology-wise, Sky on-demand is great, downloading programmes slowly (so as not to hog your broadband bandwidth), guaranteeing full normal viewing on playback. Other ways of doing it suck by comparison. All in all, a classic. If you have one, keep it.

I returned this product as it was too large for the existing TV unit. However, despite numerous requests for a refund, the Vendor has ignored my requests.

Beyond pointless if you haven't a Sky subscription as it cannot record or catch up tv.If you do subscribe to Sky then you get the far superior Q box. All in all a lose lose purchase.
