Sturdy and compact
This mount works perfectly for my Ipad Pro. Much better option than using a music stand. It is lightweight yet sturdy. Fits in my backpack easily and can attach to my mic stand or speaker stand. Very reliable.

Sold as a Rock
I use a Galaxy Tab A7 to control my own X32 mixer live and for controlling my IEM mix on another band that I work in that has a Ui24 mixer (browser based control vs app on the X32).The tablet fits perfect in the holder if you place the holder sideways (2 corners on one side, and top clip on the other). This holds the tablet in landscape which is my preferred arrangement.Let me address different areas of the holder.Mic Holder:The mic holder is REALLY sturdy. There is 0% chance that it will slip in a performance.Flexible Viewing Angle:With a ball joint adjustment, you can get any angle you need. It literally took me 5 seconds to adjust it perfectly and secure it in place.Secure Tablet Holder:The mechanism for holding the tablet is VERY secure. The tablet will not fall out, period. It is quite adjustable and I suspect it will hold many different types of tablets.Secure Phone Holder:I am not using this so I can't comment. It was a nice bonus that they included it. I may use it some day.Over-all durability:I would greatly prefer if it were metal vs all plastic. I don't know if it can take a beating (like a drunk pushing your mic stand over), but it feels very solid. It doesn't feel flimsy at all.At this price point, it seems like a great tablet holder for those needing a tablet holder for a mic stand. Sure, a metal holder would be tougher, and I may end up getting one eventually, but a good metal one is more around $100. I think this one is going to last just fine.

Holds a tablet and a Battery on a Mic Stand
I use this to hold a tablet and USB battery onto my mic stand. I run the mixing board from this tablet, and it feels very secure using this tablet holder. This includes a larger holder and a small holder. I'm not sure if the smaller holder is meant for a phone, but I use it to hold a USB battery that I plug into the tablet. This means one less long cord I have to run between the power strip and the area of the mic stand. This product seems to be well made and is easy to adjust. You can change the angle of the laptop, to make it easy to see. If I lost this or broke it, I would definitely buy another one. In fact, I already bought another one as a backup.

2 mounts for the price of 1!
Not only can the mount hold a tablet very securely, you can securely mount a phone, as well. I use them on separate stands, each serving a different purpose. My Galaxy tab gets mounted to the thread adapter and connected to an appropriate mic stand. A table stand for viewing sports and social media, a straight stand for lyrics when singing lead, and a tilting telly when I'm playing drums and singing. The phone mount is then connected to the pipe clamp and attached to a stand that gives me clear viewing while drumming. I use it for an app that displays Beats Per Min in real time. It's better than a metronome, because it encourages correction to the right speed, without stopping and finding the click. Both mounts are sturdy and have survived a small amount of road use without signs of damage. The latching mechanisms responsible for holding the devices in place seem to work great and look built to last. When using my tablet mount, I find the thumb screw on the ball clamp (mic threads) Interferes with the aforementioned latches, and makes some tilt angles difficult to lock down. It also made access while on stage clumsy, when I want ease of adjustment the most. Extending the arm between the ball clamp and the central housing by .5" would accomplish clearance, without sacrificing the size of the thumb screw itself. The ball clamp/mic thread clamp sticks upon loosening of the screw. I've backed the screw all the way out and had to pry the two sides apart with flathead screwdriver. Over time, I expect this will cause damage.Bottom line: Hard to beat this mount in this price range. Does the job, so I work with the "features ". Rock With Rik
