I use many of the popular 12 gallon plastic storage boxes having interlocking flip tops. The boxes can get fairly heavy, especially if they are the heavy duty industrial (as opposed to the light duty home) ones. This dolly is ideal for moving one or more of the boxes around. It is industrial grade steel construction with good size wheels. Some reviewers have said theirs came with some wheels attached incorrectly or not at all--I did not have that problem. This dolly is relatively expensive but well worth its price.

I received this product this evening. I immediately noted it is very sturdy, including the casters/wheels. I put six nested 39120 Attached Lid Containers on top of the dolly, noted the bottom of the lowest container fit in the dolly almost perfectly, and found the dolly rolled around easily on my thick carpeting with little effort on my part. I actually plan to use the dolly in my garage once the containers are full. The price of $75.67 may seem a bit high, but considering four good quality 3" casters can run $10 to $15 each, the dolly is not really that expensive.

I needed a 4-wheel dolly to transport my Industrial Storage Boxes and this IS THE PERFECT TOOL for that job!It is really well-made with strong steel and lipped to hold the boxes, with extra strong wide wheels that pivot to direct easily. Nice engineering and manufacturing!

I ordered this on April 13th. It was finally delivered on June 6th. Unfortunately, it was incorrectly assembled. The four casters were bolted to the wrong (flanged) side - pretty obvious problem, if you just look at the photo of the item. Not wanting to go through the hassle and delay of returning it, especially after having waited almost 2 months for it, I got out the old trusty impact wrench, loosened and removed all 16 nuts and bolts securing the wheels, put the wheels on the side where they should have been, and reattached all 16 nuts-and-bolts. Not the biggest deal, but for $94 and some odd cents, and almost 2 months waiting for it to be delivered, it doesn't seem unreasonable to expect from whomever assembled it to have at least taken a look at whatever passed for assembly instructions, or for someone to have exercised some sort of quality control before shipment. Oh well, another adventure in the online world . . . The two stars are for effort, because I couldn't think what else to do. By the way, Wheels aside, the overall quality does seem pretty good.P.S. A simple wheel brake on one of the casters would be helpful . . .

i have a lot of the boxes, i figured i needed one of the platforms. works fine. fits fine. sturdy. good purchase. some of my boxes can get heavy, especially when stacked. i am glad to have added this to my collection. recommended when it goes on sale. i waited a year to buy it for the current price of 56.

Strong and stable, perfect for storing the AM totes. One nut was loose when they came causing a wheel to twist awkwardly. After tightening that nut these have been performing excellently.

++ Really useful for those who move a lot- expensive products, but you'll somewhat make up for it in movers' time loading
