This blade brings the beef. Super robust, 1/4” thick blade stock or so. Factory edge was good, but i take a ceramic rod to all my knives to get them stupid razor sharp, this one sharpened up very well. I’ve only used it in the garden so far, and it’s great for small branch and limb removal, just had to cut out and remove a bunch of old vines and leave the healthy ones, too delicate a task for a machete but this knife made it easy, heavy enough for some chopping and limbing, yet easy to finesse and make carving cuts too. Almost Zero effect on blade sharpness after a good 2 hours of woody vine cutting, a few passes on the ceramic rod and it was back to insane sharpness. The design of the blade with the “choke up” position is brilliant and completely useful. It’s not that easy to find heavy duty stainless survival/bushcraft knives, Jeo-tec has a nice little niche there, I imagine this won’t be my only one, but I’m very glad I started with this one.

I am very impressed with the knife and components. This is a thick blade, sharp, and beautiful craftsmanship.

The solid material all the way through and the multipurpose leather sheath is amazing. I can’t keep my hands off of it. You can clearly feel the quality in the knife and the sheath I am very satisfied and am excited to take it on my next adventure

Great knife for the price can you find same quality cheaper yes everything is cheaper when amazon isn’t involved but your not here for that you want convince so if your looking at the cheaper GCS knives don’t waste your money there waste it here most real bushcrafters know a guy and they make there knives or they take on that challenge themselves but here comes that word again convince buy it for that alone and you won’t go wrong

Excellent knife, in general, perfect bevel in both sides, the cocobolo handle gives a great grip and it looks so good, jimping up the handle and the blade line give better grip on small jobs with wood, great quality multi-position leather sheath, this knife can stand anything, lanyard hole, good quality firesteel gives big sparks, you'll be able to light fire any time.

The price is very good on this one. I have very large hands and was looking for a good hunting knife that would fit well in my hand without have a really long blade. Comes with a fire starter and wet stone. Blade held the edge nicely for this past hunting season. Fit and finish is really great. The scabbard or knife holder is very well made and very durable.

It's an ok knife, but a bit dull when I got it. I've cut Apples with it which it kind of butchers, Branches it just kind of nicked rather than notched. I was expecting more from it with it's weight, and box cardboard which it slices like butter. It's cool, I'll get it sharpened and see how it does from there. Great case and add ons.

This is an exceptional knife system, tolerances on mine were very tight. Absolutely gorgeous wood and steel. Very sharp. I’ve bought a few knives over the years and have never been as satisfied with what this beauty has to offer. If you’re on the fence go for it. I’ll be buying again from Jeo-Tec.
