Great Swing. High Quality.
Awesome swing. High quality and relatively easy to assemble. They have a posted video that also walks you through assembly. Much more robust than the cheaper swings.

Solid, beautiful, comfortable - 1 yr update
I'm updating my review after owning this swing for 1 year (plus 3 months). It's still great and has held up, still pretty much like new! I haven't finished the wood yet (shellac or varnish planned), it's the raw wood exposed to the elements, and you can see from the pics how it's doing in the Pacific Northwest climate. I built a roof and attached to the top of the swing so we can sit out when it's raining, and it provides shade. We'd still buy it again, but won't need to - it'll last many years!!Very solid! Looks beautiful. It's wood, so of course there will be slight imperfections, like some splitting other reviewers have mentioned. But not anything concerning that makes me feel like it's a defect or won't hold up. All wood logs parts are uniform and milled very well. Rough finish, but no need for sanding or risk of slivers. All hardware and wood arrived, with no real room for error - no extra parts included at all. In fact, the instructions state that if you have left over parts you probably assembled incorrectly. The swing and frame took me about 1.5 hrs to set up, but I took my time. I used the same suggestions the instructions gave, as there's a couple of places where you can measure and mark in different places to your liking - like having the seat tilt farther back, closer or higher off the ground. The suggestions they gave worked great for our liking. The footprint is a little larger than I thought it'd be, but rightly so for the swing's size. When assembling, I recommend you give yourself plenty of room, since you have to lay the legs and top log flat and splayed out before you stand it up, which is a bigger area than the final footprint. It arrived in two boxes on different days - the swing in one box, the frame in another. I will say that the swing box has gaps when arrived, plastic straps holding it together, but it was opened. And I saw some loose screws inside so I was afraid some hardware may have fallen out, but luckily it was all there. Seat is very comfortable and swings nice, no wobble at all - this thing is solid. My wife and I combined weigh 360 lbs, and our 110 lb daughter has joined us on the swing and it does just fine (so that's about 470 lbs on the seat all at once). It's really a two person swing comfortably with room to spare, but you can get three people on it too. We love it!

Lovely classic swing
This is a classic cedar swing, and the second one we’ve purchased. The first lasted about twenty-five years out in the PacNorthwest elements. Comfortable, easy to assemble, and very sturdy. Fun to dress it up with lofty cushions and pillows in the summertime.

A nice swingset made in America
The swingset is very well made. It comes with all of the hardware that you need to put it together. Plan on spending about 90 minutes to completely put it together. As I said it is well made and it really looks nice. I would suggest however that to retain the shade of the wood that it is made of that you seal it with at least two coats of a good varnish. In addition that will help to preserve the wood giving you many years of outdoor use. You might want to go over it with some sandpaper first. There are a few spots that are very grainy. This is to be expected with this type of wood construction. You might want to get rid of these ruff spots. I found no pieces of marginal wood used in the construction that I would have rejected during package selection. All in all a nice product. Just wish it had an overhead covering. After a full winter exposed to the weather mine looks just as it did last fall.

Extremely solid construction: Built to last for years of enjoyment!
This is about as solid of a swing as you can get without just swinging from a tree branch. I immediately opened the two pretty large and heavy boxes and stained all the pieces in a nice redwood color because I wanted to make it last as long as it possibly can. What a difference THAT made! I definitely recommend the natural wood finish so you can stain it to your desired color. As so many have mentioned, there are numerous splits and cracks in the various pieces that make up the swing, which the manufacturer tells us is part of the natural beauty of the cedar logs. Even so, I wanted to add as much protection as I could, so I stained it. Assembly most definitely requires two people to achieve the best results in the least amount of time. I think all in all we spent about two hours putting it together. Don't plan on using powered tools: to be safe, we did everything with good old fashioned hand tools so as to avoid over-tightening. Not so much as a single screw was missing, the instructions were clear as day, and all the parts went together easy as pie.I did sand off a few rough edges, mostly on the ends of boards just to make sure I didn't get splinters handling them. And just for some extra comfort, I added two 55 inch cushions, also from Amazon. They fit very nicely and keep my bare legs and arms off the wood. I'm looking at this swing as a long-term investment for enjoying my own backyard more.Adding some photos to show what it looks like after staining, what sorts of natural cracks/splits you can expect to see in the swing itself, and what it looks like with the cushions on it.

A great addition to Nana's Backyard Fun
We have had this swing for almost a year. It has been through wind, rain, snow, and the attack of the carpenter bees (those things are evil). This has become a feature in Nana's yard for the little grand kids. We can fit two adults and two kids or 1 adult, 1 kid and 2 dogs. It is very, very heavy--no worries of tipping over. The only caution is that adult supervision is suggested for little ones as the seat is quite heavy and could do a nice karate chop to a little one standing too close. I always make sure the swing is stopped before any kids dismount. We did not paint or stain the swing and it is weathering nicely. Yes, the wood has some cracks, but guess what, that is what real wood does as it ages. I love the rustic look and I am going to be buying the matching glider for this summer as another fun feature in Nana's backyard. You know, it IS the place to be!
