I NEVER THOUGHT I LIKED THIS ARTISTS' WORKS, YOU KNOW...THE PRETTY LITTLE COTTAGES WITH LOTS OF FLOWERS AND FOO FOO STUFF...BOY OH BOY WAS I WRONG! I ACTUALLY ORDERED THIS BOOK FOR MY MOTHER IN LAW, WELL SHE WILL HAVE TO BUY HER OWN! WOW! THOMAS KINKADE'S WORKS' OF ART ARE SOMETHING SO BEAUTIFUL AND WHILE I ONLY EVER SEEN HIS COTTAGES....HE DID QUITE AN EXTENSIVE RANGE OF SUBJECTS. HIS CITY SCENES TO HIS MOUNTAINS. ALL ARE OVERWHELMINGLY BEAUTIFUL AND SOUL STIRRING. WHAT A WONDERFUL TALENT WE HAVE ALL LOST. THIS BOOK AS WELL AS HIS OTHER IS NOT ONLY PUT TOGETHER WELL, IT HAS A TON OF COLOR PLATES. THE PUBLISHER DID NOT GO CHEAPO ON ANYTHING. AND I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE MOST EXCELLENT PRICE FOR THE NEW-USED BOOK. THE BOOK DEALER WAS GREAT IN GIVING ME A NEARLY NEW BOOK FOR A USED PRICE. LOTS OF GOOD QUALITY PICTURES! BUY SOME OF THESE BOOKS. BUY TWO AND DONATE ONE. AND NOW I SUPPOSE I WILL HAVE TO BUY ONE FOR MY MOTHER IN LAW.

This is my new favorite book, and I have spent hours studying the beautiful color plates of Kinkade's art works. This was a "used" edition, with only the dust cover slightly torn, but the inside glossy pages were in perfect shape. At the reduced price, it was a real bargain! I meticulously study each painting, hoping to improve my own paintings by using Kinkade's masterful techniques. The reproductions are large enough to show the minute details of lights and reflections. So beautiful on the coffee table, guests want to pick it up and admire it.

Wow! I was thrilled to receive this book! I wanted a reference book of paintings to give me ideas for my own paintings and this is perfect!I love to include light in my paintings and many people who see my paintings say they remind them of Kincaid ( I don't agree, but it is a goal to aim for!). This will help me in getting ideas and in composing my own paintings in my own style.Wonderful book!

This book clearly illustrates the genius of Thomas Kinkade. Genuine art such as this is truly a gift to generations of people to come. I delight in being transported into the sublime landscapes and warm cottages of Thomas Kinkade's imagination. This book gives me pleasure daily.

One day I was blind. The next day, I could see. And this book is what did it for me. Not science, not religion, not a holistic Shaman with voodoo powers. NO. I was cured by a book featuring paintings of mediocre, boring scenery. If you are blind and reading this, I urge you - BUY THIS BOOK TODAY! And tomorrow you'll be eating a scoop of rum raisin ice cream and whistling Dixie saying, "Wow, that book sure did do the trick!"

I bought this art book as a gift for my mom. The content is lovely, and soothing. The art evokes heaven as well as earth in my mind, and the book is a lovely book for one to relax with and a great coffee table book as well. My only complaint was that the dust cover was torn when I received it.

It is not the book that I requested as shown here.However it is a book that is more in depth as far as informationI was disappointed when I opened the package but after lookingthrough it got used to the bookwill be wary next time when ordering on line.
