Amazing phone for the price. It is very well stated that does not work with most u.s. bands. In my country it works perfect, check compatibility before buying. Strong build, nice camera ,octacore, very fast. Big display. Fingerprint sensor works flawlessly, its worth the money if it works in your country. Very stylish phone.

Too bad this phone will not work in the USA!! Actually, apparently it's designed to work only in India according to my local AT&T store which is a darn shame because in the hour or so I attempted to get it up and running I noticed it's a nice solid feeling phone with a nice quality high rez screen! I finally decided to switch from my BB Z30 so I charged up the battery in my new Evolve and then realized my SIM card wouldn't fit so I took it into the store to get a new SIM card and was told this phone is not for the USA! WHAT A BUMMER!!!

I have been a fan of blackberry for close to 10 years now and when I researched about this device, I was okay with the specs, however the number of bad reviews I read mostly about price, network and camera sorta almost dissuaded me from making the purchase, I went on with ordering anyways (first time on amazon).Do I regret?NO, phone arrived just fine, everything seemed okay, took two weeks to arrive though, and it's been two weeks now...the only issue I have is with the back camera, I don't know if it's the application or the hardware, it really sucks!!!I wish the phone was compatible with other bb camera application or the manufactures could send software update to fix that...cos that's about the only main issue I have with the phone, another minor one is the whole Dolby audio, seems it affects some apps like the smule karaoke app...Overall a great phone, but camera app really sucks, please update to make completely compatible with normal blackberry camera

I'm actually getting 4G here in Oklahoma and I run band 5.. Text and Browser works on att but you CANT make calls with att. With a T-mobile sim i can do it all so what i do is rum 2 sims, i use the T-mobile sim for calls and the att sim i use for 4g and text and browser. To the guy who's on T-mobile ( review below) any blackberry will work on T-mobile, the reason this one won't is because it's not a US version, it's a Indonesia device, Blackberry didn't release the Evolve here in the US. Get a BlackBerry Priv, Motion, KEYone, KEY2 or Dtek60 they all work on T-mobile.. My friend is with T-mobile and she uses the Dtek60 and also the KEY2.

I'm a long-time BlackBerry user and wanted to try out their latest touch-screen offering. I am genuinely impressed with the quality and the feel of the device. It has never lagged once, the screen is amazing, and the battery is incredible. I never have to worry about my battery. The only problem is the camera - it sucks. And, unfortunately Oeptimus (the manufacturer who licenced the BB name) has stopped supporting the device, so there will be no more software updates for the phone or its camera.If you're happy having no updates and don't really care about the most amazing quality pictures, then you can't go wrong. A decent price for a nice quality phone that most people won't have seen before.

The phone is very functional on many fronts - sleek, very sharp images, long battery life.The face detection needs some improvement since it is not able to verify face when a minor detail on the face (specs off) results in unrecognized face.

It doesn't work well in North America, without WiFi it has a hard time finding network service so making and receiving phone calls and messages are limited. It works find outside of North America. It does have a good battery life and a big display screen. Apps do take a few seconds to close, but for price is decent phone but not the best BlackBerry. The BlackBerry motion is a better phone.
