Ultimate Support V-Stand Pro

Got this stand due to its smaller size when folded up compared to a standard X stand. Use it regularly for busking with a Casio Privia S3100. The build quality is very good, but it’s quite heavy. Really wish they made a “Lite” version that was aluminum rather than steel, so it weighed less.Bag is also kind of cheap. One of the zipper pulls has already broken off (within a week or so). Bag could really use a hand handle rather than just the shoulder strap.Also lost one of the upper pins, but they’re not really needed for most situations. Kinda wish there was a pocket for them on the case, or they had cables securing them to the stand.Definitely will provide some design feedback to makers.

Lo mejor, su diseño. Era una base que quería comprar hace tiempo, pero por su costo apenas pude comprarla. En general es una buena compra, ofrece un estilo diferente en el escenario, no es la mas estable, (se mueve un poco el piano)me parece que debería ser mas firme sobre todo en el ajuste de la altura, me llegó con un poco de óxido en los seguros de la parte de abajo, esto no debería pasar, es un producto premium, una desventaja que parece muy notoria es su peso, pues es algo pesada y también la maleta de transporte es de mala calidad, tuve que mandar a hacer uno nuevo.Calificación:Diseño: 5Facilidad de uso: 4Construcción: 5Peso: 4Maleta de transporte: 3Estabilidad: 4

There are two undocumented features:1. You can reduce the angle by turning the bracket inside (as shown on the picture).2. You can make fine adjustment by turning the rubber ring (see the picture).It's a pity that the upper locking pins are without wire fixation.

I was told by ultimate that they don't manufacture the spare parts for this stand, so "ultimately," when the wonky folding apparatus on the bottom leg shears off because of its questionable design, you are left with an unusable and rather heavy hunk of expensive metal inside a cheap bag. I liked it fine before it broke, because it's one of the few stands out there that is tall enough for me. But the fact that I can't buy the part from them to repair plus changes to Ultimate's formerly great warranty policy has got me doubting that I'll ever buy anything from them again.

Not rock solid while playing. The height adjustment pins are spring-loaded plastic and they WILL break; I use two steel bolts instead. 2nd tier blocks view of the controls of the 1st tier. It's a real heavy stand, so get the bag, too - it helps when moving. It looks great, though, and pedals don't slide away. I have a KS7150, too, which is $100 cheaper, lighter, and solid.
