Ordered these genuine Honda parts and they are definitely OEM. Mounting holes in the front chute match up perfectly. Went to the hardware store to buy the bolts to mount it. Stainless steel, 13mm bolt, washer & nut, installed with blue locktite

I didn’t realize the bad skid plates on the blower can be removed and flipped upside down and be used a second time. I bought them bc they were true Honda and I always make sure things are returnable (preferably free returns) so if not correct or something I can return them. When I went to return them the return policy changed to no returns bc they are hazardous material. They are metal plates and so not hazardous. There are plenty of other same Honda skid plates so buy from someone who doesn’t pull these shenanigansUpdate: Amazon covered the refund. Amazon gets 5 stars.

I bought these to add to my 2015 HS928. It has the rear shoes and had the holes and welded nuts on the sides, so this is just added protection on gravel and uneven ground. Needed 4- 8x1.25x20mm flange bolts.

Seriously Honda! For the price of these plates, they should come with hardware (bolts, nuts and washers).The "shear" bolts people are "frequently buying" are, in fact, auger sheer bolts (which you need). But they are NOT used to mount theses plates to the side of your auger. You need to make a special trip to your local hardware store to complete this installation.I appreciate the reviews which specify what size of bolts are needed. Thank you.
