I've had other protein powders from this brand that I've enjoyed a lot, but I wanted to try a vegan one. I got the Vegan Protein Extreme Chocolate Hazelnut Heaven one, and I don't know if it was a bad batch or something but it had an absolutely terrible taste that I couldn't handle. It was quite chemically, almost metallic. I normally mix it with my oat meal and it was inedible, but I tried it on its own too and I couldn't drink it like that either. Really sad because I thought it sounded so good 😢

One of the best protein powders I've tried. Great flavour, belnds smoothly, it isn't sickly sweet, and most of all doesn't make my stomach upset.

It seems expensive but I really do enjoy taking this everyday whether in milk or water - seems to mix better in water and whenever I eat it I cannot be bothered mixing it properly because it takes ages so I just eat it as a clumpy cake mixture but WOW it tastes amazing like that ! Great taste, benefits etc

Although this is great vegan product. It is very lumpy and grainy. Takes some blitzing in the blender. However it does the job for us vegans brilliantly.

I'm new to protein shakes, so perhaps my expectations (of it tasting vaguely like a milkshake) are a little high. I did so much research before I chose this brand and, if this is the best one out there, I dread to think how awful the other brands taste. I started with mixing it with water, as per the recommendation. It was so repulsive. So I switched to adding milk and making a smaller amount (200ml instead of 250ml) and that was like a horrible gloop that barely wanted to leave the bottle. The prospect of having two to three of these a day is only something I can contemplate because I have a 30 mile hike across the Black Mountains coming up and I need all the help I can get! However I mix it, nothing can change the smell and taste of old ladies' perfume (apple and cinnamon). Immediate teeth brushing and mouthwash is essential! The ONLY thing I can say in its favour is that the ten seconds of shaking recommended really does mix it completely, whether you use water or milk. That's quite impressive. They really need to work on their flavourings - I could overcome the texture if it didn't taste and smell so artificial.
