I bought these headphones for cheap. I got them shipped for 3-5 day shipping. I got them in 2 DAYS!!! And they were worth every penny! These R-10's are amazing.This is what I wanted for a pair of headphones:-Good bass-Comfortable fit-Not bulky (I hate headphones that pop out of my ears 4 inches)-Cheap but awesome.The R-10's fulfilled all of these. The only complaint I have is They're sound is a little muffled... But don't let that intimidate you! You get used to the sound quality in 2 hours of use. They are excellent and look very nice around your neck. Also a little tip! Wear them around your neck and turn up your audio. There! You can even use the headphones when they are not on your head! These are a wonderful buy on every level. And I should know, I am a music producer.

These Koss Headphones arrived in good condition, along with a Panasonic brand which I also bought from Amazon. I wanted to try both out, compared to the Sony headphones I currently own. When I did so, I discovered problems with all three. The Sony headphones fit well, had decent sound and reasonable clarity. They were not top of the line and provided only moderate range of sound, but I already owned them, so ...The Panasonic headphones had a broad, high range of sound quality and clarity but they were uncomfortable. Their ear pads were just too small and did not fit my ears well. Bummer!The Koss headphones fit OK and their sound was quite nice, but they were the most expensive (over $25), and their high frequencies were a bit muffled. Their bass was also a bit strange in sound quality.In the end, I decided to keep my Sony headphones as my main ones, with the Panasonic phones as a backup (only $7 in price). I returned the Koss phones as just not worth the extra cost.

These headphones have great sound quality. For those of us with larger heads, they have a snug fit. I perched them on a rolled up beach towel for a while and that stretched them out and made them more comfortable.

I've had several sets of this model (and the CL-20) over the years. They are two of the most popular models, R-10 and CL-20 (same headphones, but R-10 is black, CL-20 is clear)

I just purchased my third pair of these headphones because they keep breaking at a rate of about one pair per year after the rough treatment they get in my college dorm. Don't get the wrong idea though, they break because they get knocked off my desk and onto the hard floor at least once per day, and they still last a year or so! The sound quality can't be beat either. I used to buy nothing but Sony headphones, but they just sound hollow after listening to these. You will be hard pressed to find a pair of headphones with such great sound quality (and amazing bass!) at such a low price. They can be moderately uncomfortable at first, but give them a day or two and they stretch out to a nice fit.

Koss is USUALLY a brand name I trust for bringing very good quality audio to low end priced headphones but this headset sounds like something you can buy at dollar store . I've got a beatup pair of Koss TD 60 that outperforms them . If my cat hadn't chewed up my TD 40 ( the reason I purchased Koss R-10 ) it would've outperform this headset too. I guess when time comes to replace TD 60 I'll go Sony instead.
