TCE TCE20030 Torin Steel H-Frame Hydraulic Garage/Shop Floor Press with Hand and Foot Pump Pedal, 20 Ton (40,000 lb) Capacity, Blue

I have been using presses for over 40 years and I have never used one quite like this. It has a very open area to accommodate over 6 inches of an item. The pump can be operated by hand or foot on the right side of the press. There is a release knob and a pump stroke ratio knob on the right of the pump box. It has a movable piston that is on ball bearings and the pressure guage is big enough to read very well. I pressed a couple of dirt bike cranks with ease. Seems to be heavy duty in construction. Best press I have ever owned for the work I do.

Bought this press in June 2022 and in July 2022 the piston would not return to normal position. Called in customer service to get a replacement part and was told it was on backorder. Called again a few months later to check in, was told I was going to get a call back after checking the warehouse, never got a call back. Called them again June 2023, a year later and was notified the press is discontinued and no parts are available and they can't do anything about it. Now awaiting a supervisor to call back. DO NOT BUY this press there are no parts available for any warranty issues.Edit - Got off the phone with the supervisor and still got told they couldn’t do anything. I asked if I can return it or get at least credit to purchase another. Would not even honor that. Now I have a non working piece of equipment that I only used for one month. Very upset at this company.

Parts were damaged in shipping. Amazon says contact the manufacturer. Manufacture's web page is gone and they do not answer the phone. So you are on your own to fix or replace damaged parts. The packaging was sub standard. Buy at your own risk.

I love this press. It is a bit expensive but I think it has some real advantages over the cheaper units. I love the moveable press head (not everything you want to press is dead center of the work). The gauge is handy and the foot press is nice too as it give the arm a break.On the down side, I did have to file open the holes on the base legs to get them to line up. Not a big deal, but I did not what the press sitting on the bolts vs sitting on the ground. Also the instructions aren't the best. It tells you to attach the gauge. Than after it is attached it tells you to install the gasket, so you have to take it apart and then back together, kind of dumb. Also that gasket I just mentioned. It wasn't in the parts bag. I thought I didn't get it in the box. However, I carefully went through all the packing material and found a clear/white gasket. So you if you aren't careful you may end up throwing it away.Speaking of boxes. This thing comes in a wood crate. It is fantastic. It arrived with no damage and the guys from Amazon were great to work with.
