Super Skillet, solid structure undergoing seasoning more updates to follow. Well post seasoning made some Tandoori Grilled Chicken and it turned out finger licking good. Impressed by this skillet.

Great pan. One to love and take care of.
I love this pan. I know some folks are nervous about cast iron, but as long as you accept that this is not like a Teflon “non-stick” pan, but a heavy heat distributing pan with “stick reducing” qualities - if the tempering is attended to - you are guaranteed to love it. I have a 40 year old cast iron pan that is perfect after all these years of use. But I don’t want to wait that long to get it “just right”. So to speed up the process, I oil it after every use (never wash with detergent) and back it in the oven for a few hours at 350. I have done this 4 times since I bought it an it is almost as stick resistant as my 40 year old pan. Just never use detergent; never leave out wet; rub with a bit of oil after use, and bake in the oven once in a while. Perfect. And of course, never worry about rush. It just means it wasn’t dried and oiled well enough. Just wash out the rust and follow the process. It will last years more than any Teflon pan!

glad I purchased this BBQ pan
Really glad I purchased this BBQ pan. It's heavy, relatively easy to clean - I made sure I seasoned it well - with the scrapers and brush I bought with it. I wish there was a lid to cover and keep the heat in like with a real BBQ. Without lid it took longer until the meat was done all the way through and the BBQ pan got really black.

Get the teflon scrapers
The product is exactly as described. A light coat of oil (can use a brush) before cooking will prevent sticking (at least for the first several uses). Waiting until food is well cooked before turning it will also help with the sticking. Would recommend getting the teflon scrapers made by the same company. The grooves in the scraper fit the grooves in the pan and allow for easy cleaning. Solid, well built product.

If you don't know why cast iron cooking is so great, you're missing out. Takes a little more TLC than non-stick pans, but treat it right and you'll have no problems cleaning it and get the tastiest food. A Beautiful piece of cast iron grill pan
I placed the order last Saturday and delivery was on Wednesday. It is thick and heavy, the ridges are high and wide. With a infra-red thermometer, it takes a few minutes to heat up to 220 degree Celsius in the center and about 180 degree Celsius at the corners. It retains heat for a while after i turn off the stove. Totally non-sticky with the lamb cutlets and the result is very good. Everything is as expected and I am happy with this purchase.
