Perfect to train correct writing
The grips are HARD to get on a pencil. They are tight, but once on, hey aren’t coming off. Probably why the pack is so large! They work like a charm though! My kiddos had the weirdest grip when writing and their hand write was atrocious! So bad that they were getting poor grades because he teacher couldn’t figure out what they were writing. We got them using these grips, did a quick coaching session on how to properly use them the first night along with a few practice sentences and wow! Huge change that night. They’ve been using these at school for about 2 weeks and grade are climbing already. So glad we purchased these!

Classroom Tough
These are 3/4 of the way through the year, are used everyday & still look and perform great! I wash them regularly (germs) in Dawn & they come as clean as new. I will be able to use them again, next year.

Nice little pencil grip.
These pencil grips were great for my 6 year old daughter. I marked each one with a T so she would know where to put her thumb. This little pencil grip forces my daughter to hold the pencil the correct way. I couldn't figure out how they would work for a lefty. I tried flipping and turning it around but it felt uncomfortable to me no matter how I turned it (that may just be because I don't normally hold a pencil with my left hand.) These were great a great price. I was able to buy a bag, have plenty for home and send in one for every student in my daughter's class.

Prefect.
I send these to my kid class room all his friends loved it. This helps kids with prefect way to holds pencil and pen. it's a bit tight fitting onto the pencil.

Great buy! Helped many of my students.
Only thing that could make this better would be clarity for the child as to where their thumb should go so the rest could follow. I have to show them each time how to pick up their pencil. Once they get it though, it’s a fantastic support for those that otherwise struggle with proper pencil handling. Love that it came in a bulk size so I can have backups for multiple students. Thanks!

Love this style, but these were just OK
As a teacher and parent of 5, working with Kindergardeners and kids with fine motor deficiencies, I love this style of pencil grip because it encourages correct finger tip placement, whereas other grips don't or are awkward to use. The ones I usually get from the teacher store (and are in the picture) have a star to show where the thumb goes, can be used left or right handed, are very soft rubber, and easy to transfer from pencil to pencil. The ones I received did not have a star to indicate where the thumb goes (so its a little tricky to figure it out) and it was REALLY hard to get it on the the pencil. The grips were smaller than the other ones I usually buy, so the finger position was too pinched, and definitely not comfortable for an adult, but functional for a small child. The fit was around the pencil was too tight and I was afraid my kids would hurt themselves if they tried putting it on themselves. These were more like knock-off versions of the ones I usually get at the store. They're functional, but I'm still a bit disappointed.

Great for kids (or adults like me!)
I have tried many different pencil grips to help guide my children into correct pencil grip. Once I taught the where to place which finger, even my lefty has noticeably had more control in her pencil grip and writing. It is much quicker than sticking your fingers through loops, and more comfortable. It is even easy for me. I never learned the tri finger grasp, but his pencil grasp is actually comfortable to me.
