Q: Does this actually have a coating made of "tin"????

I don't know what metal it is made of. I Have had several of these over the years and have reordered many times as I give away little pies and often the tins are not returned. I Have been very happy with them. They do rust if not dried promptly so maybe they are tin.

Exactly 5 inches. Also, inside of top is 6 3/8 inches. The 7-inch is edge-to-edge of the rim.

The inside diameter at the top of this little pie pan is 6 and 1/4 inches.The diameter on the outside bottom of the pan is 5 inches.The diameter at the outside lips is 7 inches.

Q: Can this be used in an instant pot without damaging the pie pan?

No. It isn’t a great quality pan.
