This works, period. For those retirees who expected a potato like out of an oven, a BBQ or a restaurant with a hard skin around it, sorry. I have been eating potatoes from the microwave with Saran Wrap for many years. This is quick and tastes just as good.But so t give it a bad rating because it isn’t like out of the oven……it’s a microwave potato….

I've used the Ziploc Zip and Steam bags for years but they appear to be discontinued.I tried this one and it works ok but takes much longer to cook corn and especially whole potatoes. The old bags were mostly sealed and kept steam in under pressure. This bag just holds some steam in and as a result takes longer to cook whatever it holds.Good until I find better.

I bought them because my daughter said they work great so you can have baked potato’s in minutes because as a working person we rarely had them because it took too long to cook and dinner would be too late. We all loved them but I decided to try a yam because they take even more time. I hoped it would at least soften it enough that I could have them for dinner but was really surprised when it was almost entirely cooked in four minutes. We use them a lot.

I was a little skeptical but I baked 2 large gold potatoes in one of my little red 🎒's and they came out perfect, just right. I did a Idaho the next time. Perfect, just like a restaurant. I'm sold, you should try. It sure cuts down on baking time.

Like: here is a chance to try out microwaving potatoes (I’m old and love regular old oven baked potatoes)Dislike: seemed to add nothing to the meal. Later, my neighbor snickered that she’d tried these pouches years earlier. And had same belief that they were useles.

They make perfect potaties and cook 5 min in microwave

Bought one at a craft fair and needed to replace. Those work great even my husband is using it! Microwave 4 minutes check then add a minute or so longer if needed. I find them so moist and perfect! Can cook more than one at a time. Great idea!!
