Hammons American Black Walnuts Baking Pieces 8 oz. 1.5 Cups

I ordered black walnuts for baking and when recieved it was walnut dust, mushy and rancid! This is very deceptive!! Do not buy because it is an expensive mistake that is unusable!

These black walnuts were great but know that they are finely chopped.Excellent flavor and fresh!

Horrid! It's like walnut granuals!!!!! Seriously...I can't use these for fudge or nut bread.. damn near powder ! FALSELY ADVERTISED!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE...IM OUT MY MONEY??? PITIFUL!

Nuts are ground almost to dust and taste bitter. Not a good purchase.

If you want ground black walnuts these are for you. If you want black walnut pieces, this isn’t your product.

Bought 2 of these which were supposed to be black walnut pieces. They're basically so crushed up they're almost walnut dust. Absolutely wasted my money and the picture/description is false. Can't return them so just a holiday rip off. It forced me to give it one star but it should be zero.

What a disappointment! These walnuts are GROUND and not suitable for any recipe calling for chopped walnuts that I know of. I'm surprised that the item is allowed to be offered with such misleading information, especially when so many reviews mention the problem. I have bought this brand in the past but will not trust it in the future. I feel mislead by Amazon, the seller and the company, especially when it is not refundable.
