A very good mower, with some drawbacks
Initially bought a Makita cordless mower, it was truly awful, very underpowered so I returned that and got this. Probably easier to list all the good points first and then the bad points later. The Good:Superb build quality all round, it feels like a machine rather than a plastic toy.Fairly quiet.Automatically adjusts the speed of the motor relative to the amount of resistance it is experiencing, so for example if you have clumpy grass, it will speed up when it hits it and then slow back down when it senses less resistance. Obviously when it speeds up it is louder, but it does not do this much in my garden.Excellent grass collection basket, easy to empty, easy to get back on, no faffing around, it works well.Works well on wet or dry grass, no clogging as yet and have used 5 times in different weather from red hot to quite wet and murky.Self propelled is very handy, takes some getting used to, see also the bad points!Large cutting area.Good battery life, I bought two batteries and only use about half of one of them for front and back medim and smallish lawns.Folds up for storage, see also bad points!Plenty of power, no grinding to a halt in thick grass.Good height adjustment.Cuts the grass well, see photoThe bad:This mower is very heavy and not easy to manoeuvre, so not really suitable for smaller, weaker users. Not the best on uneven ground because of the large deck, it tends to ground and dig in when on the shortest cut.More suited to larger lawns that don't have fences and the turning circle is quite large, especially if using the self propulsion. The very long handle also makes the turning difficult in smaller gardens where there are fences close to edges of lawns. When the self propulsion is disengaged, the rear wheels tend to lock, leaving a two skid marks on your lawn! The shortest cut is not very short in comparison to others at 2.5mm and you notice this in peak grass growing season a lot!The folding mechanism is awful. It feels like whoever designed it, did not test it. It's quite easy to fold the machine up, there are two spring loaded clips that pull out and release the handles, it then folds in half, upright (have a look at the vids online), but there's nothing to hold it together, so if you then lift it by the handle, the mower part crashes to the floor, unsupported. There really should be some way to lock it in place, but there isn't. Very poor design. Moreso because of the size of this mower, most peop[le will not have a shed large enough to leave it unfolded. The grass collection on the whole is very good, but there are times when it leaves a line of cut grass for seemingly no reason and you have to go back over it to pick it up. This happens in wet or dry weather, not sure why.If using without the self propulsion there is a fair amount of resistance making this already heavy mower even heavier. This is not a problem if you intend to use the self propulsion all the time, but given the way my garden is, I need to be able to push and also pull the mower while still cutting and it is not that easy because of the resistance from the self propulsion system, even when it is not in use.The battery release tab is difficult to operate, takes a lot of force and it feels like it is going to break and eventually operates with a loud snap, releasing the battery. This may be how it is meant to be, I'm not sure.In general, I'm very pleased with my mower. Yes there are a number of gripes, some are minor annoyances, others are more so, but in general I like it. It never feels under powered like the Makitas. If you have a very uneven lawn with lots of bumps and divets then this mower probably isn't for you. Likewise, if you aren't particularly strong or have a smaller lawn, then something else would be better suited. The self propulsion is great for larger areas, but for smaller lawns and tighter spaces, it makes things more difficult. On the other hand, if you are looking for a powerful cordless mower with a larger cutting area, decent battery life, superb build quality and have the space to store it, then this is a very good mower.

AUTONOMIE
