great price given the features, some quality control issues
I bought these to replace my existing mic system, which was a very nice and much more expensive system, but also 20 years old and without the ability to change frequencies (which caused problems when we moved to a new venue). I've only had it for a couple of weeks now, but after some teething problems I am quite happy with the purchase. At under $100 per channel it has a lot of nice features which normally command a price of several hundred dollars per channel:1) it has adjustable frequencies with a scan mode to find the best frequency automatically (my main concern)2) it is UHF, true diversity (the product description doesn't specify the later part, but it is in the manual), supporting up to 20 channels3) it is rack mountable with antennas on the front (which makes the mount easier in my case)4) it has an individual output per channel (as well as a mixed output), which allows me to make per-channel adjustments in the mixer5) it has a little display on the body pack to indicate the channel (removing the need to put extra markers on the body packs)6) it works fine on rechargeable AA batteries (which makes life a lot simpler for me)I do have some serious concerns about quality control: In total they send me three units with six body packs, two of which arrived broken and had to be replaced. Upon contacting the seller they immediately send me a replacement body pack free of charge (directly contact the seller, don't use the amazon return mechanism that will cost you). So definitely order this early enough that you can get a replacement unit if you need it. Also, the gain adjustment knob is slightly displaced on some body packs with respect to the casing, making it (somewhat) hard to use. Still, after I got these things sorted out I had (almost) no further problems. When it comes to sound quality they don't seem quite as good as my old system, which is probably mostly due to the headsets that come with it. It may be Ok for some applications, but if you care about sound quality you might as well plan to buy separate headsets for them. I haven't tried my old headsets yet, as they use a different connector. Be on the lookout for that, I had ordered a guitar adapter cable and it came with the wrong connector as well, so I had to send it back. I also had one headset break within a few hours of use, but I don't consider this much of a loss as I am planning to replace the headsets anyways. If I could put together a wish list, it would be:A) do more quality control before sending the units outB) have the option to buy the unit without headsets, for those of us who plan to buy separate headsets anywaysC) turn down the gain before you ship it (trivial to adjust once you get it, but it may confuse novice users as the sound before adjusting is horribly distorted)D) have a native English speaker review the manual. it is quite hard to read in places.Still, given the price and the features I decided to give it five stars. You may have to invest some extra effort up-front and maybe buy extra headsets, but once that is done it works nicely and you saved yourself a bundle.

Best deal for the money!
I first bought GTD wireless set about 15 years ago. It is still working great! Had to replace a body pack transmitter and a power cord over the years but that's to be expected from hundreds of performances. I got a new one for some better improved features. Also recommending to my students! Seriously, you won't be disapointed!

Had a difficult time with this
I'm not an expert sound engineer but I have a lot of experience and this was way more difficult to grabs for me than I think it should have been. It was a value for my money and the sound wasn't great after I finally got somewhere with it.

Very good product overall
Very good product overall! Good audio performance (for the price) while using the lapel mics. Very good range. Easy setup. Minus one star for including the stock (black) earhook mics which are difficult to use (picks up too much breathing noise, but picks up nothing when moved a little further from the mouth) & uncomfortable. This then makes the beige-colored GTD audio earhooks ($12 something at last check) a must-have if your speaker prefers to use earhooks.

This system works great I am not a professional
This system works great I am not a professional, I am an armature. The choir director at our church is conducting a musical for the children's choir and wanted 6 wireless headsets. It was going to cost $700 to rent for one night. After reviewing countless units and reading reviews, I chose this unit as a test. The unit had an overall rating of 4.5 stars, but I was skeptical because of a few bad reviews, after receiving the test unit, I purchased, 2 more for a total of 3. I purchased 3 dual receiver or 6 wireless headsets for the rental price of one night.I understand that at any time you can purchase something that doesn't work. Most of the poor reviews, in my opinion were people that did not read the instructions, or did not understand radio frequency equipment. To anyone who has never owned an CB or Ham radio, the squelch adjustment is to remove static or unwanted noise from another transmitter close to you. If you get the 2 handsets close to each other you will get feedback and you have to adjust the squelchThe units have both an XLR and a 1/4 inch audio cable output. I used my Bose Bluetooth speaker with an aux input for initial test. I then connected the unit to our sound board with XLR cables, and with minor volume adjustments the unit worked great. After the initial test worked, I ordered the other 2. It took less than 15 minutes to set up the other to 2 units or 4 headsets. I used the group to select different bands of frequency, leaving the default channels to 1 and 5. for the receivers. Everything worked without problems. I have not tried to use the automatic frequency selection, which may be necessary depending on electrical interference in your location, but with 200 channels, even if the FCC sells the frequency in 2020 you may have to change your channels. In my opinion this is a great option for someone with a limited budget..The equipment setup is so simple that even a caveman can do it. .

Great if you are on a budget...pretty darn good even if you aren't!
Had a Shure Dual wireless lavalier system for our church, but the electronics were getting old, one of the channels no longer worked, and the old body packs were getting flaky. Looked at replacing with new Shure system, since what we had worked so well for so long. But the price! Yikes!!! The GTD system here had good reviews, so I figured it was worth a try. Very glad I did! I am not an audiophile, and we are only using it for voice, not singing, but I am extremely impressed with this system. Range, sound quality, operation of base and body packs is all excellent. Oh...I did not use the included microphones, they are that good, but ordered "GTD Audio Single Earhook Headset Microphone" that plugs into the unit (also from Amazon). These really cheap (I think they were $6.00 a piece) little earhook mikes have EXCELLENT sound quality in a very inexpensive package! If you order this wireless set, make sure and get the additional earhook mikes, you won't be dissappointed.
