The pressure switch end cap will not screw onto the flashlight. Not recommended.
The end cap for the pressure switch does not match the flashlight -- it won't screw on. I returned it for a replacement and the exact same problem. I wound up returning it and buying a different brand that worked.

NOT FOR TX40
Just an FYI, if you call coast, they will tell you that their only pressure switch is designed to fit the TX40. I assumed this meant that the seller must be selling that pressure switch, as the Amazon item if from "Coast". I went to the Coast website and their switch looks different than this one. When I received this one, the button was smooth and either plastic or aluminum. This model felt like it was well constructed, and may well be. Unfortunately this will NOT fit the TX40. If you need one that will, you are looking for the TT7733TSCP, and this one isn't that.I'm not sure if this is even a Coast product as it is represented.

Durable and reliable accessory.
Does what it's supposed to do, but the wire could use some more length to allow for more flexibility in placing the switch. The switch could also be a tad larger.Would rate 4/5 if the glue for the velcro held as it should. It doesn't, and the switch comes off the strip of velcro after a while. Ended up securing it by wrapping camo tape over the switch and around the gun. Worked great thereafter, but that shouldn't be required. The switch itself works reliably in any weather and doesn't mind dust, sand, water or mud.

The pressure switch does need to held to keep the light on. In addition, it does have an on/off button on the tail cap.

Coast is a Great Company!
I ordered this pressure switch and when it arrived the thread pattern did not match and I couldn't attach it the the light. The had the correct 7736TS light and I thought there must be different production runs so I called Coast, the manufacturer. Coast said that the production runs are all the same and the switch should fit. Coast immediately shipped me a new pressure switch for FREE and it arrived in less than a week. The new switch fits, functions great on my weapon and is brighter than my surefire. Entire set-up cost me around $70. Coast has restored my faith in customer service!

Coast pressure switch
I bought this switch to mount on a shotgun. It works as it should, but there are two problems. As pointed out by another reviewer the self stick Velcro does not stick to the rubber switch. The second is the lack of a coiled cord. The loose loop of wire is just begging to to catch on something and tear the switch off of the fore stock. A piece of equipment designed to be used in a possibly life threatening situation, in the dark, it should be fool proof. It is not.Sure, I can by and replace the Velcro but why didn't Coast supply some that worked in the first place? Replacing the wire with a coiled cord is doable but I will probably just replace the light with a different system. I will however, be left with a great flashlight.

NIGHT WATCHMAN
This switch works very good, seems like its holding up pretty good in the elements ,I use it at night all the time in heavy dampness on the water 5 to 6 hours a night.
